While at Lehman, he identified investments, developed financial models, and researched economic trends in order to invest the firm’s capital in various long/short, equity derivatives, and convertible bond strategies. Alex was promoted to portfolio manager in early 2008, after five months on the job.Alex earned an undergraduate degree in economics from McGill University and an MPhil in economics from the University of Oxford.  He also has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.While in college, Alex debated competitively, he has served as the Director of Coaching at the Oxford Union, and helped develop debate curriculum for QatarDebate: the Gulf’s first and largest non-profit debate education NGO.
