Topics this week include: Metals/Gold Crude Oil/WTI Equities/RVX Crypto Ags FUTURES OPTIONS FEEDBACK Question from Jose Morales - Why do you like trading opts on WTI instead of USO? USO can be traded in most accounts. Need a futures options account to trade WTI. Question from Brett R. - Can you hit some FX on the show? Question from George Pete - Russell 2000 gets all the love. What about futures options on 1000 or 3000? Or maybe some of the other indices under FTSE umbrella? Question from Khariton - Was there ever a VIX RVX spread product? Thanks for TWIFO show.

This Week in Futures Options 139: Shifting and Sliding Around the Volatility Skew

Topics this week include: Crude Oil Metals/Gold Ags/Hogs FUTURES OPTIONS FEEDBACK Question from Caesar L. - Why is palladium catching such a bid? Worth more than gold again? Question from Model X - Ask the Russell guy which of the Russell products puts up the most contracts? Also when's the move/shift stuff coming? Question from Studio64 - Why don't we see more flavors of equity volatility? There's VIX and then there's Eurostoxx and that's pretty much it. There was talk of more on the horizon but nothing has come of it yet? I'd like more underlying indices other than S&P and more methodology than just the base VIX methodology (maybe some sort of skew product). Thoughts? Question from Brandon Elliot - Have any good rules of thumb when trading the term structure in seasonal products like corn? Maybe a point when the spreads are just too wide or narrow and need to be traded? What's typical holding period for these trades? Longer than a month? Thx for answering.

This Week in Futures Options 138: Your Questions About Crude, Equities, Volatility and More

FUTURES OPTIONS FEEDBACK Question from Franks - What's the best entry futures option for newbies? I'm thinking something in the equities because most people are coming from stocks? I'd guess stuff like seasonal crop cycles would blow their minds. Question from Behr12 - What do you guys think? I don't think crude vol can sustain for long at these levels. - RE: Oil: Are Options Signaling Long-Term Uncertainty? https://www.cmegroup.com/podcasts/off-the-charts-podcast-series/oil-are-options-signaling-long-term-uncertainty.html Question from J Swager - We stuck range bound in WTI for next few months between 48-55? Any signs in the vol that we might be heading for a move beyond in either direction? Question from Bob Engles - Do all the synthetics that hold for eq opts like long stock/short call = short put also hold for futures options? Question from Alcore - How far out can I go in eMini S&P or rut options? Does it make sense to do collars out to max expiration? Or maybe just a couple of years? Question from The Poet - What does it mean when an options is delta skewed? Question from Kaichi - You said all vertical trades were skew but what about calendars and diagonals? Isn't that skew? Comment from Steve A: Best series of shows about trading options on the net Question from Opt Addict - I see a lot of talk about delta neutral trading using equity options but not so much with futures options. Why is that? Is it just not a popular strategy or is there a fundamental difference on the futures side that makes it less viable to dynamically delta hedge a position?

Topics this week include: FX Crude/WTI Equities Ags/Soybeans Metals/Gold FUTURES OPTIONS FEEDBACK Question from Desinc81 - Are you buying that the FED is done for 2019 and maybe beyond? Question from C Sanders - What do the options traders think about this development? Re: article - Palladium is worth more than gold for the first time in over a decade. Question from Uncert1n - I've always heard the saying that when things get crazy correlation goes to 1. I know that holds for individual stocks and indices but does it also apply to commodities and other assets? Question from Andrew Testa - Love the TWIFO and wouldn't mind more Ag reports. Trying to learn that marketplace for myself. I'm still in the phase of trying to figure out the difference between El Nino and La Nina and which is good for Ags. Thanks for all your great shows. Enjoying the new Crypto Rundown.

This Week in Futures Options 131: Fed Spooks All Markets

Topics this week include: Rates Crude/WTI Equities/Russell Metals/Gold Futures Options Feedback: Listeners take over Comment from MailManDan5 - I'm a buyer at $2,250. Know that market all too well. If it wants to fiddle down there I'll play ball, else it's not a great time to get back into crypto. Hopefully too many people didn't waste their time in 2018 on what was clearly a 2017 boon. Little piece missing here. Gold is rising now that #BITCOIN is falling. Little switch up in store of value happening here. Any bigger investors that decided to take the crypto plunge still playing it like it's a stock - it goes down enough and then pull out and reinvest elsewhere Comment from Giorgio - Volatility in the Euro/USD futures options is making OTM puts very cheap. Time for a quick risk reversal? Comment from Austyn41 - Good shows today. The experienced and animated host makes it very entertaining and interesting to listen to.
