Tiffany and I discuss her experiences of trauma that led to her powerful moment of realization. What she realized compelled her to change the story and patterns of her lineage, as well as change the entire direction of her life. Five years ago, Tiffany developed a blueprint merging her two passions, Project Management and Manifestation, to produce a framework which would allow everyone to purposely manifest, steadily, for the rest of their lives. The success of her work inspired her online course, which is also being adapted into a book, Project Manage Your Manifestations. Hello, Alchemist! Today is all about Reiki…Star Nation Reiki, with Marie Morohoshi. A daughter of immigrants, Marie is a queer nisei (second generation Japanese American) activist and Reiki-Master Teacher. Marie’s deep affinity for ceremony and nature was seeded at the age of six when she began her rigorous training in Chado (The Way of Tea) and Kado (The Way of Flowers), practices rooted in Japanese Zen Buddhism. These practices and many others that followed would lead to the cumulative effect that informs her current Reiki practice, ways of teaching and being in the world. Drawn to restoring deep reverence and relationship with nature, Marie feels most alive when she brings traditional and ancestral ways of healing together in the context of nature and ceremony.  Marie feels most of today’s human and planetary suffering stems from its forgotten inherent relationship with the natural world and all things sacred. Parallel to performing, Sherisse has had the pleasure of passing on her passion and experiences through teaching for various companies and institutions such as schools, colleges and community groups. Sherisse works with a women's charity, AWA Dance (advancing women's aspirations with dance), as their Dance and Leadership Facilitator. Happy Monday, Alchemist! Beyond a technique, Reiki is an energy, the expression of life force that animates all living things. Once you become aware of this essence that IS, what begins to happen to you and your life experience? Ifetayo White, founder of The Lowcountry School of Reiki, joins us today to share her beautiful experiences of growing in, through and with Reiki. Ifetayo graduated from Howard University in 1967, and after working as a Russian translator, and for a non-partisan office in the U.S. House of Representatives, her heart compelled her to offer touch healing. Subsequently she became certified in reflexology, Jin Shin Do Acupressure and eventually massage therapy, all the while continuing to study meditation practices, intuitive development, metaphysics, world religions, and traditional spiritual and shamanic practices.  In 1995 Ifetayo became attuned Reiki I and II; and was initiated as a Usui Reiki Master Teacher in 1999. In February 2020 she was attuned Shinpiden Reiki III by Frans Steine of the International House of Reiki. Ifetayo has continued to share sessions in-person and remotely, and teach and nurture students since her first attunements almost 30 years ago. She also continues to facilitated numerous Reiki in-person and virtual workshops and healing retreats. The Reiki BE Membership Community on Patreon is her newest offering the greater Reiki community. Ifetayo is currently  working on a book in collaboration with contributions  from the diverse community of Reiki Master Teachers. In 2019, Sheena was guided by her Ancestors to open OnePeopleTO, Toronto's Decolonizing Wellness & Spiritual Sanctuary to address the economic and racial disparities in wellness options and non-denominational spirituality: http://onepeopleto.ca In 2020, after completing a Post-Integration Training with Fluence Psychedelic Training, Sheena began trip-sitting, guiding psychedelic ceremonies, and working with other organizations to bring an inter-sectional lens to psychedelic medicine. Sheena has worked in a university setting for almost a decade where she has been invited to facilitate workshops on Reiki and mindfulness for students, staff, and faculty. Sheena speaks on Reiki, spirituality, faith, trust, and psychedelic medicine from a healing perspective, as well as processing tools and techniques like reiki, astrology, and creativity at national and international speaking events, conferences, and retreats. By actively healing her own incestual and racial trauma, Sheena is skilled at holding space for those who are moving through their own transformation. She encourages clients to take healing into their hands by becoming an expert in their own mental/emotional & physical bodies to foster an empowered relationship with traditional healthcare models. This often means exploring and honoring their inner life and past experiences to build resilience and redefine the lens through which they see the world.
