The importance of staying calm, being patient, and letting plays fully develop before making a decision was emphasized.⁣ ⁣ 4. 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:⁣ ⁣ • Good communication skills with coaches, players, and fellow officials are crucial. The ability to de-escalate tense situations and explain decisions clearly and confidently can help maintain control over the game.⁣ ⁣ 5. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀:⁣ ⁣ • The session touched on the importance of learning from one’s mistakes. Being reflective and constructive about errors made during games can lead to significant improvement and better performance in future games.⁣ ⁣ 6.
