Forgiveness of sin comes from Jesus alone, but often healing comes in the context of community. Who are you praying for? Who do you have in your life that’s praying for you? More than any other, we are commanded to love one another as He has loved us. We can’t do this alone; Jesus invites us to abide in Him and He will abide in us. The more we abide in Jesus, the more fruit we bear that can pour out to love one another unconditionally, like Christ has loved us. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. – John 15:12

This week, Pastor Joby talks about the event in John 13 when Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. He washes the feet of those that would follow Him, betray Him and deny Him. Many people find themselves in places of authority, not just at work, but at home as moms or dads. What do you do when you find yourself in a place of authority? What would it look like for you to “wash the feet” of those around you? If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. – John 13:14 Love one another with brotherly affection.
