Are you driven by fear or faith?

During the fourth week of our series exploring the book of Philippians, Pastor H.B. Charles imparts wisdom on Philippians 2:1-18. His teaching serves as a reminder for us to refrain from grumbling or disputing in all situations. By doing so, we can strive to be blameless and pure, embodying the qualities of children of God who are without blemish. This is especially important in today's world, where the prevailing culture is often crooked and twisted. Through our conduct, we have the opportunity to shine like beacons of light amidst the darkness, illuminating the world with goodness and hope.

The theological reality of the gospel is that Jesus’s life, death and resurrection has reconciled you to the Father. The relational reality of the gospel is that the gospel should connect you to the body of Christ. If you are in Christ, you should be a part of His family, the church.  

You don’t get peace without grace and you don’t get God the Father without knowing Jesus as Lord. 

Religion kills. It’s a trick. It convinces people that they are saved by their good works and self-righteousness. 

Are you ready to “come to your senses” and come home to your heavenly Father? 

Money cannot protect your soul, only direct it. Direct your soul to a deeper trust in your Good Father, the Good Shepherd.

Jesus not only rescues us from, but rescues us in and through our suffering.
