Matt Overton is a long snapper with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. He first came into the league in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013. After the 2016 season, Overton departed for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has also had stints with the Chargers, Titans, Rams and now with the Cowboys. Today on the podcast, we talk to Matt Overton about his crazy 2022, coming to the Cowboys, growing in his faith this year, praying at the 50-yard line and what it means to stay ready. Seth Reeves is a professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in 2021-22. He turned pro in 2014 after a successful college career at Georgia Tech. He first earned his PGA Tour card in 2019 and in 2020 was playing on the Korn Ferry Tour where he won his first tournament at the 2020 Pinnacle Bank Classic. Today on the podcast, we talk to Seth Reeves about trusting in God during the highs and lows of golf, losing his PGA Tour status, his involvement with College Golf Fellowship and how becoming a dad has changed his perspective on life. Sam Ravech is an on-air personality and sports play-by-play broadcaster with ESPN covering college sports as well as the Little League World Series. He was previously the play-by-play voice of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the San Francisco Giants AA minor league affiliate.  Sam's father Karl Ravech is a long-time ESPN anchor and play-by-play voice who has covered baseball with the network since 1993.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Sam Ravech about his role as a broadcaster, following in his famous dad's footsteps, and why he began a relationship with Jesus.  Looking for faith/sports gift ideas? Dave Jauss is a baseball lifer. He's been in the game as a coach or advisor for more than 30 years. He's currently a Senior Advisor in player development with the Washington Nationals. Before that, he was a bench coach with the New York Mets. He's also currently in the Dominican Republic serving as a coach in Dominican winter league. Dave also recently was a part of a trip with Sports Spectrum host Jason Romano and others with Compassion International to serve those in the poverty striken areas of the D.R to show them love and faith and hope.  Today on the podcast, Dave shares his heart for Compassion, his heart for the Dominican Republic and his experience being at the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby throwing batting practice to Mets superstar Pete Alonso.  Looking for faith/sports gift ideas? Eric Wood played nine seasons in the NFL with the Bills from 2009-2017. He was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by Buffalo, and became a staple on the offensive line, starting all 120 games he participated in. The Louisville alum was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015, and was a part of the 2017 Bills team that won nine games and ended an 18-year playoff drought. After retiring because of an injury in 2018, Wood moved into the broadcasting arena and is currently a football analyst with the ACC Network and part of the Buffalo Bills radio team. He also is the host of the “What’s Next with Eric Wood” podcast and the author of his new book "Tackle What's Next."  Today on the show, Wood discusses why he wanted to become an author, what it means to be patient and how God has been moving in his life. Eric also shares fun stories on playing football in the snow in Buffalo and what he thinks will happen when the Bills finally win their first Super Bowl. 

Patric Young is a former college basketball player with the Florida Gators in the SEC. He is currently a college basketball analyst with ESPN and the SEC Network. As a basketball player, he was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 and a 3-time SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year winner.  On June 29, 2022, Young was involved in a serious car accident in Nebraska that left him paralyzed from the waist down.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Patric about the foundation of his faith in Jesus, his basketball journey, the car accident he suffered, how his faith has evolved and finding joy in the midst of losing the movement in his legs. Jackson Holliday was selected first overall in the 2022 MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles. Holliday attended Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma and finished his senior year batting.685 with 17 home runs, 79 RBI and 30 stolen bases over 40 games. He was named the Oklahoma Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year and wa also awarded an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove.  Jackson's father is Matt Holliday, the eight-time MLB All-Star with the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals and currently the Cardinals bench coach.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Jackson Holliday about his 2022 and what it was like to go from high school to being drafted and playing pro baseball in the span of a few weeks.
