Nate Prosser played 11 seasons in the NHL with Minnesota, St. Louis and Philadelphia. He signed with Minnesota in March of 2010 and made his NHL debut a few weeks later on April 5th against Edmonton. Prosser would go on to play 10 seasons with the Wild from 2010-2017 and 2018-2019. After 360 career NHL games, Prosser retired on January 11, 2022 and now serves with his wife Britt in sports ministry with Pro Athletes Outreach. Chris Mortensen passed away on Sunday March 3, 2024 at the age of 72. Mort was a former ESPN Senior NFL Insider. He was honored by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) with the prestigious Dick McCann Award for his long and distinguished contribution to pro football in 2016 and was honored during the Pro Football Hall of Fame's enshrinement ceremony. Today, we remember Chris Mortensen and bring back a clip of him sharing his testimony of faith on the Sports Spectrum podcast from February 20, 2019. Kyle Gibson is a starting pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals. Drafted in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins, he made his big-league debut in 2013 and pitched seven seasons with Minnesota.In 2020, he signed with the Texas Rangers, and in 2021 made the American League All-Star team. After being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies, he was a member of the 2022 National League champions and pitched in the World Series. Last year with the Baltimore Orioles, he notched a career-high 15 wins and helped the team to 101 victories and the AL East championship. Then in November 2023, he signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals for the 2024 season. Jim Nill is the general manager of the Dallas Stars. In 2023, he was awarded the NHL's Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year Award after Dallas posted 108 points and 47 wins, their highest total in seven years. Before going into the front office, Nill was a player, selected by the St. Louis Blues in the 1978 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut in 1981 and played a total of 10 seasons with the Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins, Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings. John Means is a pitcher with the Baltimore Orioles. He was selected in the 11th round of the 2014 MLB Draft by Baltimore and made his MLB debut in September 2018 against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. In 2019, he won 12 games and was named to the American League All-Star team.  In 2021, Means was selected by Baltimore to be their Opening Day starting pitcher. On May 5, 2021, he threw a no-hitter against the Seattle Mariners, striking out 12 batters while facing the minimum of 27 batters. In 2022, Means only pitched two games before undergoing Tommy John surgery.
