Tim Bice on Installing Elders
The biblical precedence of elders leading our churches is clear. Good elders add value and are a gift to those they serve. It’s difficult to have a healthy church without healthy leaders, which is why the vetting process must not be careless. Installing unqualified men may lead to harm for all involved. Getting this right is crucial for leaders and churches.
Today we hear from Tim Bice, lead teaching pastor of Greenbriar Church in Albany, Georgia. Tim planted Greenbriar in 2008. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Liberty University. He is also the regional director for Acts 29 Georgia and Florida panhandle. He and his wife, Jaye, have four children.

Dayton Hartman on Eschatology
Eschatology, the branch of theology concerned with the end times and God’s final judgment, is the focus of many movies and books in secular culture. It seems every few years, someone claims to know the exact day the rapture will take place, theories abound of what that day will look like, and when natural disaster strikes or wars begin, people assume the end of the world is near. As church planters, what mindset should we have toward the end times, and how should we engage our churches on this topic?
Dayton Hartman, author of 'Jesus Wins: The Good News of the End Times' joins the podcast to help us answer the question. Dayton is the lead pastor at Redeemer Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and serves as an adjunct professor for Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Columbia International University. He holds a Ph.D. in Church and Dogma History from North-West University and is married to Rebekah. Together, they have four sons.
