Glory Community Conference in Nebraska--with Matt, Eric and Silas

This podcast was CRAZY FUN! It flowed from jokes and laughter to deep sharing, heart connection, and even tears! At our last Kainos Koinonia (a conversation style conference devoted to encouraging others in familial style church life) I had a glorious chat with three incredible men. Join Eric Wilding, Silas Valentine, and Matt Spinks as they share their hearts openly and honestly. Each of these men have unique stories of discovering Jesus, friendships, and community. What they are doing in the earth is unprecedented and absolutely incredible! It was an honor to be able to sit down and hear their hearts for Jesus and community.

Kissing the Accuser with Jamal Jivanjee

I recently had an amazing conversation with two friends, Jamal Jivanhjee and Nishelle Reagan, about how to respond to accusation. This conversation is practical for all those that have begun to taste the freedom of Jesus outside traditional religion. Lets face it: the cork has been popped and the bubbly is being poured out. The fattened calf has been slaughtered and the feasting has begun. The elder brother will never be okay with this shindig; nevertheless, we cannot stop moving our feet because the music is just too good to stand still. Jesus first sign that He was indeed the promised Messiah, was to increase the wine and keep the party going. Enjoy the drink, be free to love and kiss your accuser.

The Abiding One (Dr. George Bowker and Levi Ferguson)

Come engage in a conversation that has the power to alter the way you see God forever. Dr. George Bowker and Levi Ferguson join us as we discuss the most essential yet often overlooked truth of God's nearness. Although we may never verbally question this truth, many doubt its reality. And unfortunately we have been taught a mixed message. In actuality most of us have been told God is somewhere in the sky, that He occasionally comes down, checks in, takes roll, tallies our good works, or pops in for a quick chat or answer to prayer. Many have adopted the perspective that if we worship, confess, or pray enough than God will respond and come near. The lie of God's distance has masqueraded itself under many religious pretenses that seem so right but actually have their origin in paganism.  The most fundamental truth of Christianity is the nearness of God. This truth is realized in Jesus and clearly depicted in His incarnation. The Father stepped into human skin and communicated His commitment to us even while we were still sinners. This truth is so glorious that one could spend eternity exploring its depths. Sit back, relax, and drink some tea as we increase our awarness of His very real presence.
