Daily marijuana use is much higher than daily alcohol use in America today. While it's important for Christians not to simply have a knee-jerk reaction to things like gambling or drunkenness, and completely swing the other way, what does the Bible say about the use of drugs like marijuana? Disney continues to stumble kids with their recent show, “Andor.” Sin, and sexual sin in particular, is insidious, working its way into movies like Star Wars or Toy Story. Twenty-nine states have brought in vouchers, tax credits, etc., for students over the last several years. This has established a strong conservative movement across the states—a restoration for the nation is on the horizon, right? Not exactly. The minute we get something good going, the devil is always on the next train . . . or the government. What the government funds, the government controls. And despite the continual drop in the approval rating for the public schools, the vouchers aren’t helping people get their kids out of the public institutions: those attending private schools barely increased 0.35 percent over 10 years. So what gives? Is there a depreciating love for children? The bottom line is that we need the hearts of parents turned to their children, and those of the children turned to their parents. We need a miracle. The libraries in America are not a safe place. More and more, books themed on sexual perversion are taking over. All the while, libraries continue to be discriminatory against Christian books. HB1312 is a bill in Colorado that goes against parental rights, essentially criminalizing parents for disagreeing with their children's gender identity and affirming transgenderism. Too few pastors are showing up and concerned about this bill. While God will fight for us, we need to show up in support of God's Law and with the courage to oppose the wicked.
