We currently live in the softest age known to mankind. People are making far more in developed countries today than they have in the past. In addition, there is also a softening of evil. There is no ultimate source of right and wrong in the minds of many today, including in the American church.

There are some significant differences between this election and the last presidential election of 2020. While President Trump managed to secure more of the minority vote this time, the overall influence of evangelicals has dropped off by roughly 5 percent since 2020. It is only by the mercy of God that Jezebel lost. But what do the most recent election trends, especially around initiatives concerning pro-life issues, reveal about the hearts of Americans? Is God giving America another opportunity to repent? Here is another call for the salt to regain its saltiness, a call for true repentance and revival . . . and a call to make America humble again.   

The 2024 election outcome was plainly a demonstration of God’s mercy upon a nation. Jehu won. Jezebel lost. The babies lost, except in South Dakota. What then is the next four years, but one more opportunity to see a little repentance on abortion, homosexuality, and the things that matter to God? We’re not sure much of this matters to the Republican Party, but at least they won!

The ballot can be cast into the box, but the whole disposing of it is of the Lord. It is incumbent on Christians to repent . . . and vote. Inflation reduced retirement accounts by $2.5 trillion, but the good news is that Trump and Biden gave us all $814 billion in stimmie checks! Inflation took it all away and reduced the value of savings accounts by $1.6 trillion and 401(k) accounts by $2.5 trillion. What a deal! The government created $5 trillion out of thin air, gave us all $814 billion, and then reduced our savings and retirement accounts by a value of $4.1 trillion! It’s a shell game. It’s stealing. And the government is good at it.

England provides the template for the dissolution of denominations in the decline of the West. The correlation between compromise on homosexuality and the shrinking of congregations within respective denominations is almost perfect. The Archbishop of Canterbury waffles on homosexuality in hopes to salvage some minimal participation in his church, but the strategy isn’t working for him. But why?

We fill out the Colorado ballot, arguably the longest and most wicked ballot for this election cycle. How would Jesus vote? He would do the will of His Father as contained in the law of God revealed in the Bible. He would advocate a government that reflects the laws of God and limits itself to the purview God has laid out for it. How does a principled Christian vote on the ballot issues?

This nation is experiencing higher levels of the Romans 1 phenomenon, where God gives a people up to a corrupted mind . . . really insanity. Contributing to it is this intentional work of would-be tyrants who know that a confused and anxious population disconnected from the truth is easy to control. Christian organizations are vying for more government funding—the sort of Marxism and farcical monstrosity that has undermined real charity in the modern age. What the government funds, the government controls and mostly destroys.
