Mufti Abdur-Rahman delivered the final lesson for the graduates from Madrasatul Haq ( www.madrasatulhaq.co.uk ) in October 2023.

“You have not loved anything without being its slave, but He does not want you to be someone else’s slave”. Compared to other emotions, love is a feeling which makes a person totally selfless, emotionally humbled and dedicated to their object of affection. The unraveled wisdom and discussion is to get the listener to look into their heart to see what is occupying their heart and focus; love for the Creator or of something worldly?

This was the Hifz completetion ceremony of our young brother Abdur-Rahman ibn Saghir Khan. Abdur-Rahman finished his memorisation of the Qur'an at the tender age of 9 Mash'Allah. The video will start with a talk by Dr. Mufti Abdur-Rahman and then a short speech by Abdur-Rahman Khan and finally his completion recitation of the final few Sura's and then a Du'a,

"Just as He does not love the deed possessed of associationism, so similarly He does not love the heart possessed of associationism. As for the deed possessed of associationism, He does not accept it; and as for the heart possessed of associationism, He does not draw near to it". Allah the Most Exalted loves and accepts that heart and deed which is solely dedicated to Him. The Shaykh explains how to safeguard oneself from any type of corrupt deed or corrupt heart and what factors sow the seeds to their contamination.

“Or do you think you will enter paradise while such (trial) has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken untill (even their) Messenger and those who believed with him said WHEN IS THE HELP OF ALLAH? unquiestionably, the help of Allah is near.
