Patreon Sample: Vol. 1 | Bonus Episode
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Bizarros! We decided during this time of goodwill and gift-giving that it would be fun to give a sampling of what our exclusive Patreon content is like. So, on this sampling, we included 3 of our Patreon segments: 1. Social Media Response - where we post questions every Monday on our Instagram and directly respond to your comments and our own thoughts on these questions. 2. Do You Believe the Bizarre - where Producer Ben finds two real bizarre and paranormal stories and then writes one story himself, and Charlie and Tyler have to guess which stories are Believable and which story is Unbelievable 3. Listener Submission Interview - where we interview the folks that send us personal encounters that we turn into episodes. We hope you enjoy and thank you everyone for the continued support! The Haunted Carnegie Library of Homestead
We are heading to the Carnegie Library of Homestead. However, as told to us by listener Beck, this very old library is much more than a place to check out books. It also has a pool, basketball court, music hall, and batting cages. Oh, and apparently it is haunted. Tales of books flying around, shadow figures, and disembodied voices surround this iconic library. But, are they true? Listen now to find out. The 13 Yule Lads, Gryla, and the Yule Cat
Welcome to another episode of Believing the Bizarre! As we get closer to Christmas, we thought it would be fun to tackle Icelandic Christmas folklore - the 13 Yule Lads. Essentially, these are Icelandic pranksters that come to town one by one during the last 13 nights before Yule, and perform a particular task. Some weird and some even weirder. We also discuss the terrifying troll, Gryla, and the big black Yule Cat. But how believable is all of this Christmas fun? Listen now. The London Dungeon
Welcome to another episode of Believing the Bizarre. It’s listener submission time, brought to us by Katie, and this week we head to London, specifically the London Dungeon. The London Dungeon was opened in the 1970s on Tooley Street as a museum of various medieval torture instruments and has grown over the years into a massive actor-led tourist attraction with rides. The rides aren’t the only thing entertaining guests, however. Countless employees and guests have claimed to see spirits, shadows, children, and more. But, is it believable? Listen now to find out. The Michigan Dogman
Welcome to another episode of Believing the Bizarre! Bark Bark! Nope, we aren’t talking about aliens - we are talking about the Dogman! Specifically, the Michigan Dogman (although, whether or not this cryptic is specific to Michigan is up for debate). We have multiple famous encounters, along with a few fantastic Reddit experiences, that detail witnessing this tall, half man half dog-like creature with either blue, green, or yellow eyes. But, how believable is the Michigan Dogman? Does he truly reside in Michigan? Listen now to find out! The Loveland Frogman
Welcome to a LIVE HALLOWEEN special! This week, we literally travelled to Loveland, Ohio and recorded our episode on the Loveland Frogman live on Instagram and Facebook. So, what is the Loveland Frogman? It is a four-foot, half humanoid half frog-like creature with leathery skin that was spotted by business men back in the 1950s and a few police officers in the 1970s. He is known to wear rags of clothes, stand on his hind legs, and wave a magical wand that shoots fireballs. Crazy? Perhaps. A ton of fun? Absolutely. We even find a way to tie Pokemon Go into this. Enjoy this live Halloween special and listen now!
