Yan Pritzker represents another classic case of someone who has re-directed their entire career as a result of catching the bitcoin bug. Specifically, Yan left his position as co-founder and CTO of reverb.com, the popular open marketplace for music equipment, to devote himself to educating people about bitcoin. His first effort in this new career has culminated in ‘Inventing Bitcoin’, a book he authored to try and make understanding bitcoin more accessible to a mainstream audience. For those people in your life that you’re trying to ‘red pill’, I think this book could be a very useful tool:) Enjoy! Brandon Quittem is the author of a series of articles on Medium that has grabbed the attention and expanded the perspective of bitcoiners everywhere. In his 4-part series, Brandon explores the similarities shared between bitcoin and mycelium (the underground fungal network from which mushrooms emerge), referring to bitcoin as a ‘decentralized organism’. Analogies between bitcoin and other natural processes and phenomena have been made before, however none appear to be more apt than the one Brandon makes with mycelium. In my view, such analogies are important, and garner so much interest, because the degree to which an analogy is apt or appropriate, represents the degree of use we may derive from transferring known understandings or insights from it, to the the subject of the analogy, which we are all desperately trying to understand more. Ragnar Lifthrasir is the Co-Founder and CEO of gunsnbitcoin.com, and an outspoken advocate of the responsible ownership of firearms. I’ve noticed that my perspective on guns has changed quite a lot over the past decade or so, and obviously it is a polarizing topic in our culture. I feel that almost all the dialogue on this issue is guided by emotion rather than logic, reason, data, or an understanding of historical context. Guy Swann is an OG bitcoiner and the creator, host, and captivating voice behind 'The Cryptoconomy' podcast. With so many great bitcoin-related articles and other written content coming out these days, it can be diificult to keep up. However, we all recognize the importance of expanding our view of this revolutionary technology, Guy makes this process super easy, by taking the best written content in the space and turning it into an audio format.
