The United States passes three million coronavirus cases and nears 132,000 deaths. The virus is surging in 35 states. Deaths rise in Florida, Arizona and Texas. Seven states have record hospitalizations. The California governor says that state hospitalization rate is up 44 percent in over two weeks. Miami schools might stay closed despite the state's mandate. The United States reported a record of more than 60,000 new coronavirus cases recently. At least 3,200 coronavirus deaths have occurred in Maryland with more than 70,000 cases. Birx says states with surges should roll back reopening.
