Vaccine advisers to the FDA voted 17-0 to recommend emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine in children ages 5-11.  As the FDA takes the committee’s vote under consideration, emergency use authorization for young children will likely be given in the next several days. Whistleblower documents reveal damning picture of Facebook’s role in the January 6 insurrection. Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen testified before the UK Parliament on Monday to discuss how Facebook allowed misinformation to be shared in the days leading up to the 2020 election and how such misinformation may have helped spark the January 6th insurrection as well as fanned flames of sectarianism around the world. The first Trump administration witness, former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark, is expected to testify on Friday before the Jan 6. select committee.
