There are approximately 40 million Black Americans, and 40 million different life stories. Ron McFarland, aka Sugar Bear, has his own story to tell. His bottom line - he is a Republican because of Frederick Douglass. All discussed with a chaser of civility, of course. For Mr Sugar Bear, that included a nice cold beer and a hot toddy for me.
