Matt Leonard has completed not 1 but 2 professional schools and is dually licensed in Chiropractic and Physical Therapy. After completing his course work at Logan University he attended Washington University's PT program. After working in private practice with Dr. Brett Winchester he started his career in major league baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter, FL working with players of all stature. He recently got promoted to the MLB roster where he will serve as the Major League Physical Therapist. Matt is a crazy talented clinician but also a really awesome person. We are so excited to have him back in St. Louis and to sit down with him. If you have a dream to work in Major League Baseball, listen to this episode a few times! Enjoy!

Clinical Savant Series: Dr. Antonio Stecco, Fascial Manipulation
Dr. Antonio Stecco's family literally wrote the book on the fascial system. Based out of Italy, Dr. Stecco teaches all over the world and sees patients when he isn't teaching. Antonio is faculty at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Stecco's scientific activity is devoted to studying the human fasciae from a macroscopical, histological, and physiopathological point of view. He has personally made over 100 cadaver dissections for research purposes. He and his sister Carla continue to push the envelope for explaining fascia's role in musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Today, we were lucky enough to sit down with not only Antonio Stecco but also the Chicago Cubs head trainer, PJ Mainville. Enjoy!

Dr. Audra Lance is the owner of Spine + Sport Rehab Institute in Nashville, TN. Her results-oriented approach focuses on treating the root cause of pain and injury, rather than simply the symptoms. This approach has allowed her to establish a patient group including former Cy Young Award winners, current MLB all-stars, current NHL all-stars, and NFL pro-bowlers, as well as an annual invitation to work with Team USA. In addition to professional athletes, she has established herself as the go-to manual therapist for the stars including some of the best country music stars and even other established providers in the Nashville area. Dr. Erica Boland is a passion-driven woman and very much a movement and pelvic floor enthusiast. As a chiropractor, Erica thrives on connecting with women and children to help them move better and feel better on this journey. Much of her practice is focused on healing the core and pelvic floor in the prenatal and postpartum periods. Outside of her role as a chiropractor, she is a mother of four, Full Spectrum Doula, and student midwife. She teaches other professionals across the globe how to set a higher standard of care for the parenthood transition and it is her mission to educate and empower women and lead the transformation of current postpartum protocols. She and Kyle spend much of their free time with their four beautiful boys.
