Reading Romans Backwards - KR 107
There is no greater text than Romans when it comes to Christian theology. It is a shame that we often neglect the community and people behind this very important letter. Paul’s letter to the Romans was more than something to be argued about. Romans is a powerful letter to a group of people that took it’s message and changed the course of history.

Paul's Pastoral Theology - KR 104

What is the job of a Pastor? Scot suggests that Paul describes the primary task of the pastor as creating and nurturing a culture of christoformity. Pastors can easily be distracted by all the voices clamoring at what they should do. Critical to the Kingdom taking root is pastors being faithful to the work God has called them.

James Bryan Smith on Spiritual Formation and the Kingdom - KR 100
We all have ideas that we tell ourselves about God and how he works in our lives. Some are true--but many are false. James Bryan Smith and Scot talk about how these thoughts determine not only who we are, but how we live.
The path to spiritual transformation begins with the right thoughts about God. Turning to the Gospels, Smith invites you to put your ideas to the test to see if they match up with what Jesus himself reveals about God.

Class is in Session: Education in the First Century (Rebroadcast) - KR 99
How did people learn in the 1st Century? What kind of school would Jesus have attended?
Dr. McKnight tackles these questions and more in a discussion about education in the 1st Century. The way education was carried out in the 1st Century has a lot to say about how Jesus did discipleship. Understanding discipleship is more than transferring information; it’s rooted in a personal relationship that brings transformation.

1 & 2 Thessalonians in the Story of God (Conversation with John Byron) - KR 98
Hope is essential to the Christian life.
Like the Thessalonians, we’re sometimes tempted to lose hope and give up. It’s in such situations that these ancient letters find new life. Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians are often overlooked, but they’re as important as any of his letters – and they’re essential for the church today.
