Ep 26: 1992 - Husbands & Wives *Discussion*
Back on track with our next movie in the retrospective... definitely one of the more notable additions and we enjoyed digging into this one quite a bit!
In Husbands and Wives (1992) two couples, Gabe (Woody Allen) and Judy (Mia Farrow), and Jack (Sydney Pollack) and Sally (Judy Davis), grapple with the complexities of love, marriage, and infidelity as their best friends' separation sends shockwaves through their own lives.
Husbands and Wives delves into themes of honesty, commitment, and the challenges of maintaining long-term relationships. Through the characters' introspective conversations and introspective monologues, Allen explores the delicate balance between personal fulfillment and the expectations of others.

Scenes From A Mall (1991) is directed by Paul Mazursky, written by Mazursky and Roger L. Simon, and starring Bette Midler and Woody Allen. The title is a play on Ingmar Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage, and the film itself features similar themes of marital disintegration.

Ep 20: 1988 - Another Woman - Don’s Favourite!?!? *Discussion*
We continue to move forward with our Retrospective and we get to a very special movie for one of our hosts as it seems to be his favourite whereas, it is not really considered majorly with moviegoers or even die hard Woody fans compared to his other offerings
Another Woman (1988) stars Gena Rowlands as Marion Post, a philosophy professor who rents an office to write a new book. She overhears the therapy sessions of her neighbor, Hope (Mia Farrow), and begins to question her own life choices.
The film is a meditation on identity, regret, and the search for meaning. It is also a showcase for Rowlands' performance, which is considered to be one of her best.

Ep 19: 1987 - September *Discussion*
We continue to move forward with our Retrospective as we look at Woodys next attempt to dive back into the more emotional and barebone narrative drama somewhat like the vein of Interiors - it seems to have a bad rep with some but we get a good conversation from this one for sure ;)
September (1987) stars Mia Farrow as Lane, a woman who is recovering from a suicide attempt at her summer house in Vermont. She is visited by her best friend Stephanie (Dianne Wiest), her lover Peter (Sam Waterston), and her neighbor Howard (Denholm Elliott) wjere they are stay over for a while and complications arise
