Roddy summoned Akademiks to the hills of Belair to have this important conversation about his mental state, his career, his recent album and actions on social media. Roddy talks about how he first met Akademiks and how quickly his career took off once a few of his singles took off. He talks having a diamond single 'The Box' and how that changes things and also addresses the theory if he could have dropped music when he wanted or did the label hold him up. He talks about criticism of his release schedule and addresses head on whether he has an inflated ego now or not. He talks about doing features and how the pandemic slowed up his progress after having a huge album and the toll it took on his craft and mental state. Roddy Ricch addresses tweets by Meek Mill that put him in the center of Meek's beef with Atlantic where Meek Mill claimed Roddy Ricch was stolen from him by Atlantic Records and that he didn't benefit off helping to find Roddy Ricch in the initial stages. Roddy explains what his reaction to that statement was and how his relationship has been from the get go with Meek Mill and also the late Nipsey Hussle. Roddy Ricch also addresses going on Clubhouse to confront someone from his hood who had an issue with him.
