Explicit Measures Podcast
PowerBI.Tips
Hosted by Mike Carlo, and Tommy Puglia, the Explicit Measures Podcast is a Power BI focused show that is like being around a Power BI Pro’s Water Cooler. With so many available resources in the community that focuses on the “how” in Power BI (how to do Drill Through, how to use DAX, etc.,), the Explicit Measures Podcast is all around the WHY. Why use a particular feature, does it make sense for my users?
Build the toolset, learn the how, and then come to the Podcast to the listen to the why in situations we all experience as Power BI Pros.

330: Mailbag! Pipelines & Missing Features
Mike, Seth, & Tommy go through a users frustration around missing features with Fabric & Pipelines.
What's the purpose of deployment pipelines and GIT integration when Dataflows, (direct lake) semantic models and reports are not supported? I'm struggling to get my head around it and to convince management that Fabric should be the data platform of choice.
I'm reverting back to good old golden datasets to have some profit of a dev-test-prod pipeline.

327: Mailbag! Is Microsoft Fabric Ready?
We have a great new mailbag from Chris Young!
Chris Young from metro Detroit here.
My question is a simple one. Is Fabric soup yet? I know its GA, but do we trust it with production processes yet?
My organization has not enabled it our tenant yet, opting to keep using ADLS and ADF for now for fear of instability. Is this justified? My boss and I are chomping at the bit to start using Fabric, but he's nervous. Help us out, please.
