Why Enterprise Community Management Works
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). There are reasons why some online communities grow and thrive while others fade away into obscurity. One of the primary reasons involves like-minded individuals aggregating and communicating around relevant topics, as well as having the ability to come and go as they please, and welcome other like-minded individuals as they please (think #TChat). They are built on open networks, authenticity, transparency and trust. Creating these inclusive environs in the enterprise has proven more difficult, but there are best practices to follow. Enterprise community management is more than installing a social collaboration platform and waiting for the magic to happen. Join #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guests, Maria Ogneva, Director of Product Marketing, Chatter Communities, Salesforce (Formerly Yammer), and Jeff Willinger, Director of Collaboration, Social Computing and Intranets, Rightpoint. This will be another great "community management" show, so we hope to see you here! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re thrilled to announce our first “world of work” partnership — with Achievers. Workforce Recognition and Employee Engagement
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). Doesn't everybody love their job? Unfortunately no. Too many are not happy, disengaged and feel they just aren't being recognized. At all. Major shifts in technology, social media and management strategy (or lack thereof) have drastically changed how we work, and not for the better. In fact, lost productivity of actively disengaged employees costs the US economy $370 billion annually according to Gallup research. But when employees are recoginized and rewarded, they are more engaged and emotionally connected to their work, sometimes upwards of four times more so than their unrecognized counterparts. How should we do that today? Well, #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guests, Stan Phelps, founder of 9 INCH Marketing and author of "What's Your Green Goldfish," and S. Max Brown, Principal at Rideau’s Recognition Management Institute and keynote speaker and keynote speaker. This will be another great "world of engagement" show, so we hope to see you here! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re thrilled to announce our first “world of work” partnership — with Achievers. The World of Work Spaces
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). Do you work in your own closed office? In a cubicle? In fluid, open, shared space? Or in a corner nook of your master bedroom? Where you work and what that work space looks like can have a huge effect on just how you get work done, individually and with others. Your work environment can create opportunities for communication, encourage creativity, and even ignite innovation. Why work spaces are so important to the world of work are many, but ultimately for you it's a personal choice and for your organization it's a collaborative productivity choice. #TChat co-creators and hosts, Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guest, Chris Congdon, Director of Research Communications with Steelcase. This will be another great "world of work space" show, so we hope to see you here! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re thrilled to announce our first “world of work” partnership — with Achievers. Choose to Bridge the Skills Gap
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). The worlds of education and business are moving farther and farther apart. The skills shortage many economists and other "world of work" thought leaders keep talking about is real and leaving millions behind. Schools aren't encouraging students to become bold thinkers, dreamers, and doers -- and businesses are expecting them to be just those persona types without much investment. This is why the Choose2Matter and TalentCulture #TChat communities are coming together this week for #TChat Radio and #TChat Twitter Chat. Together we can choose to bridge the skills gap and help students find mentors in communities like ours to greatly enhance the lives of these amazing young people today. #TChat co-creators and hosts, Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guests, Choose2Matter co-founders Angela Maiers and Mark Moran. This will be another great "world of work" show, so we hope to see you here! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re thrilled to announce our first “world of work” partnership — with Achievers. Social Business and Charitable Giving
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). In the U.S. there are over 1.5 million nonprofit organizations that compete for charitable dollars. The fact is it's become more difficult today to attract donations in our social media-savvy society, despite spending over $7.6 billion annually on marketing. What to do? Well, according to the 2012 Nonprofit Social Networking Report, nonprofits find great value in their fast-growing social networks. This makes sense since many of us utilize social networks to communicate and collaborate in a variety of personal and professional ways, including aligning with companies' corporate social responsibility initiatives. We live in a society today where social giving, impact investing and paying it forward are indicative of a different way of thinking about philanthropy, and there are new services and platforms that allow nonprofits, consumers and small businesses to benefit greatly in their giving. This week’s #TChat Radio and Twitter #TChat will discuss what it means to put social giving in this new nonprofit world of work. #TChat co-creators and hosts, Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guests Marion Mariathasan, CEO of SoRewarding.com, a cause-focused social network that integrates giving into your daily activities, and Jure Klepic, a prolific speaker, writer, marketing and social media innovator who specializes in marketing strategy and social media innovation for consumer business. This will be a great "world of work" show, so we hope to see you here!

The HRO Today Forum Welcomes the World-Class Workforce
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). Even with the collaborative "social" technologies available today to share and learn across the private enterprise and the public domain, nothing beats attending a quality industry conference chock full of thought leaders and content and that all-too valuable face-time networking. #TChat co-creators and hosts, Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman, are excited to be participating in this year's HRO Today Forum coming up April 30 - May 2, 2013, in Philadelphia, PA -- and in preparation they're even more thrilled to welcome this week's #TChat Radio guest, Elliot Clark, the CEO & Chairman at SharedXpertise, the publishers of HRO Today, FAO Today, HRO Europe, CRO magazines and manager of the Shared Xpertise Forums. We've heard this before -- that the structure of work and HR is changing -- but the reality is evolving so rapidly today that in order to better address tomorrow’s sustainable prosperity, organizations truly are becoming flatter, more agile and depending on research and data to drive decisions for optimized business results. This week’s #TChat Radio and Twitter #TChat will cover what it means to be a World-Class Workforce and draw on the HRO Today Forum topics. The World-Class Workforce uses integrated self-service technology; it is focused on leadership development, talent assessment and culture; and, it has a firm grasp on the business’s current talent and future needs. This will be a great "world of work" show, so we hope to see you here!

The “No Labels” Workforce
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). We cling to plenty of premises -- postulates, really -- to guide and make sense of our day-to-day lives. In the world of work, prominent among these are the categorization of generations and the cataloguing of generational differences. We fret over how to recruit Millennials. We wonder how to manage them vs. Baby Boomers or members of Generation X. We reinforce stereotypes, all under the guise of a Renaissance, a passing of the torch from generation to generation. But we can challenge our postulates by just working with people. This week’s #TChat is all about forcing ourselves to free ourselves from the limiting walls of generational-driven thinking. Let’s shatter the myths. In more ways than they aren’t, the generations are the same. “Individuals” are characterized by the very word individual. Join co-creator and host, Meghan M. Biro, and guest co-host, Anna Brekka from Recruiting Trends (Kevin W. Grossman will be on a plane), and their informative expert guests: John Wilson, CEO at WilsonHCG, and Ashley Lauren Perez, Sourcing Specialist at WilsonHCG. WilsonHCG is a global human capital solutions company offering recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and human capital consulting services. This will be a great "world of work" show, so we hope to see you here!

The Reality of Humans as a Service (HuaaS)
#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). There are many different flavors related to the term "software as a service" (SaaS) in business today. It's part of the cloud computing nomenclature -- "clouding" this and "clouding" that making everything more accessible with reduced long-term hardware, software and networking costs. So what about Talent as a Service (TaaS) or Humans as a Service (HuaaS)? How exactly would that work? Got you thinking, didn't it. According to one of this week's guests, Richie Etwaru, "a more humanistic, people-centric view of the 'as a Service' phenomena extends Everything as a Service to 'Everyone as a Service.'" What we're really talking about is on-demand talent in the cloud, the ability for anyone or any company to source individual talent and groups of talent for anything, at any time, for any kind of work and frequency, in any interation and/or for any ideation. On some levels this already happens with sourcing contingent workers globally via freelance sites and other services. But can that ever scale effectively and efficiently for the enterprise as well as smaller companies and consultancies? That's what we're going to talk about this week on this week on #TChat Radio and Twitter #TChat with our guests Jason Averbook, long-time HR thought leader and Chief Business Innovation Officer at Appirio, and Richie Etwaru, Group Vice President of Cloud and Digital Innovation at Cegedim Relationship Management. We hope to see you here!
