For the past six years, Wade has been the pastor of the church where he grew up, Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia, Ar. As much as he loves being a pastor, Wade has never lost his love for music and singing. In the year 2000, Wade formed a part-time group called Canaanland, which consisted of his wife, Amanda; his brother, Lee; along with Ronnie LaCaze and Curt Crook. From 1995 to 2000, he served as Vice President and Academic Dean at Atlantic Baptist University. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Vice President and Academic Dean at Tyndale University College and led the process of obtaining provincial permission to offer Bachelor of Arts degrees. Since 2004, he has been teaching full-time.
