Follow Part 4. FOLLOW WEAR Everyone is invited to follow Jesus. Being a sinner doesn't disqualify you. Being a doubter doesn't disqualify you. The goal of following Jesus is a faith that overcomes fear of the future or our current circumstances. It's a faith that gives us peace. But what do people who follow Jesus look like? What do they wear? What sets them apart as Jesus Followers?

Act Like Men - In a time where mature men were few and far between, the apostle Paul gave some strong advice to the men. It was there time to make a stand and act like men. 2000 years later the same principles apply to the men of today.

Everything in our life needs taking care of.In the midst of life we forget to tend to our own soul and we get foggy.The Psalms remind us that it is our responsibility to tend to our own souls.

Following Jesus does not mean you will have a problem free life.The scriptures remind us that our reward for following Jesus is that we would become fearless people.

The scriptures teach us that God has a time for everything.So in our good times, and the bad times, never lose heart, everything happens in God's timing.As we wait, we need to turn away from our thinking, and take on what God thinks of us.

Religion says, change and you can join us.Jesus says, join us and you will change.There is a huge difference.Jesus comes to you where you are, and is more than happy to start there.Following Him begins by just taking the next step.

The scriptures encourage us to praise no matter what you are going through.Your praise will rename things in your life.The best is yet to come!

 Follow Series Part 1 - Jesus Says Ever played the game “Simon Says”? Sadly many people live like and / or believe that Christianity is like a big game of “JESUS SAYS”.  When this is the case, people feel “In” or “Out” of God's love / favour depending on how well they feel they’re doing what “Jesus says”. Today we start our Follow series by looking at four liberating truths about Following Jesus.  

The primary purpose of the church is to help broken people.Familiarity is the biggest enemy of longevity, it opens doors to offence and entitlement.Luke 15:25-32 is an example of how NOT to respond.

Life was not meant to be done without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.It's not enough to just appear like a Christian, it's Christ in us that gives us the power to do life.
