Come Follow Me LDS - Exodus 1-6 Moses & The Burning Bush

Moses travels to Midian to be with Jethro then marries his daughter after meeting her at the well. In his experience on the mountain, Moses goes through a visionary, ritualistic experience similar to the temple. His rod changes to a serpent and he is healed. BYU Professor - Was Joseph Gay?

This is a response to Thomas Wayment's presentation to Dialogue Journal of Mormon Thought on Joseph of Egypt as a gay prophetic character. The primary purpose of this episode is to show where Critical Social Justice is leading to within LDS scholarship and how it will arrive at the Book of Mormon. Secondarily, I give a minimal response to Professor Wayment's points of support such as the Coat of Many Colors (fancy) and the contrast between Joseph and his brothers. The Restored Gospel Is Not Fox News or MSNBC

Fox News or MSNBC do not Reach the Values of the Gospel Based on countless comments, emails, and other communications I receive from members, for many members, their political fervor supersedes their fervor for the Gospel and for the Church. This creates a false values hierarchy that can only bring destructive consequences. Do we hold a stronger affiliation and identity with a political idea or philosophy than we do with the gospel? Or a party over the Church? The result would be a cognitive dissonance that could alienate us from our covenants and from truth. Things are not going to get easier. We must obtain and use Clear Thinking and learn to get through the weeds Website - https://www.cwicmedia.com

LDS Church News Email on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Church News Email Supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion The Church News run by Deseret News had an article about International Women's Day with several enriching stories from women leaders of the Church. However, the introduction of the article and the email header by the Church Communications Department gave a very different take and message on the day focusing instead on #BreakTheBias stating " people all over the world are encouraged to call out and break gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping in order to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world." DEI is something very specific in the Critical Social Justice world. Website - https://www.cwicmedia.com
