Under the Banner of Heaven - Cwic Review
Absurdly Negative Cliche of Latter-day Saint Life I could barely get through the first two episodes of the Under the Banner of Heaven series. It was brutal. An incessant onslaught of stereotypical Mormon life complete with every meme you can think of. The characters talk as if they are 19th-century Amish, the Church history is all negative, and the window on "Mormon" life is a joke. Also, the reverent TV makers insert a temple ceremony complete with Temple Robes.
