Re-Education Courses And Blacklisted For Calling a Transwoman A Man
Alarming story! As a congressman in Mexico, Rodrigo Ivan Cortez was fined, put on a blacklist, and assigned re-education courses for saying that a man was a man and a woman was a woman. In the sentencing, he was cited as being "white," a man, heterosexual, and a Christian. Ironically, these are immutable characteristics protected under a universally applicable, or so was though, Mexican Constitution. This sentencing comes from policy created at the United Nations and adopted by lawmakers.
