Dean Stott: British Special Boat Service

Dean is a former operator in Great Britain’s Special Boat Service, a security consultant, adventurer, endurance athlete, and author. Dean served in the British military’s elite SBS before transitioning to the private sector following a parachuting accident in 2011. After a second career as a highly sought after security consultant focused on high-risk jobs involving extortion campaigns, kidnappings, pirates, military coups and civil unrest which included the evacuation of the Canadian Embassy in Libya, he set his sights on breaking a record in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The journey to break a world record led to breaking two records. He is the fastest person to ever to cycle the Pan-American Highway - from the southern tip of South America to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. He is also the first person ever to complete that journey in under 100 days. Kyle Lamb: Special Operations Legend
For more than two decades, Sergeant Major Kyle Lamb, served in the United States Army, over fifteen of those years in 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta, more commonly referred to as Delta Force. In 1993, he was involved in the Battle of Mogadishu, depicted in the book and film Black Hawk Down. Kyle operated at the highest levels of special operations as an Assault Team Leader, Sniper Team Leader, Troop Sergeant Major, Combat Development Sergeant Major, and Task Force Sergeant Major.
Drawing on his combat experience from Mogadishu to Mosul, Kyle founded the tactical gear and training company Viking Tactics. As an industry leader in tactical shooting techniques and as the designer of combat proven gear to include the VTAC Sling Jack used in the SEAL Teams and still uses today, Kyle continues to lead and influence in the private sector, teaching leadership, shooting, and tactical courses to the military and law enforcement communities. He is the host of the Team VTAC Podcast and can often be found at the SIG SAUER Academy or hunting the backcountry.

Peter Bergen: The Rise and Fall of Osama Bin Laden
Peter Bergen is an acclaimed journalist, terrorism and national security analyst, and author of the new book, The Rise and Fall of Osama Bin Laden, which examines the life, philosophy, influence, and personal contradictions of the infamous leader of al-Qaeda. Bergen famously interviewed bin Laden in 1997. Bergen currently serves as the Vice President for Global Studies & Fellows at New America and is New America’s director of the International Security and Future of War programs. He is also a national security analyst for CNN and a professor at Arizona State University where he co-directs the Center on the Future of War. Bergen is a member of the Homeland Security Experts Group and a fellow at Fordham University’s Center on National Security, and serves on the editorial board of one of the leading scholarly journal in the field of counter-terrorism: Studies in Conflict & Terrorism.
He has previously taught at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Along with his latest, Bergen has written and edited three New York Times best-selling books, along with four books that have been named among the best non-fiction books of the year by The Washington Post. He is also an Emmy winning documentary filmmaker.
