S01E12 - Lauren Socha
Alright. How's it going? Thanks for downloading episode 13 of the Two Shot Podcast. This week Craig and Producer Griff took a trip to Derby to have a chin-wag with Lauren Socha. You might know her from her roles alongside our host Craig in Misfits, or from her great performace in The Unloved. In this chat, Lauren is brutally candid and incredibly open. She reveals her own insecurities and regrets and talks about her childhood, school, dealing with being in the limelight as a young person, and her own little baby which she loves dearly. It's an intense and enlightening half hour or so and one that we're sure you'll find interesting. Two Shot Podders... it's Lauren Socha. S01E11 - Andy Nyman
Happy Thursday to each and everyone one of you! Thanks so much for joining us for episode 12 of the Two Shot Podcast. This week we're very happy to share a chat with an actor still very much in love in acting; ANDY NYMAN.Craig & Producer Griff travelled to London to spend some time with Andy and have a brew and a natter. I think you're gonna like this one. It's a very positive chat with Andy. His love for all things 'acting' shines through this episode. We cover all sorts of stuff whilst being welcomed into Andy's "museum"... that will become clear, hopefully, when you hear the episode and see some of the photos and videos we took. You'll know Andy from all sorts of films & tv such as Kick Ass 2, Charlie Brooker's Dead Set, His writing with Derren Brown, and all sorts of theatre that Andy has been involved with over the years. Of course, this being TSP we don't even discuss any of that! We had far too much else to talk about during our time! We hope you enjoy listening it as much as we did making it.GET. YOUR. PODCAST. S01E10 - Sanjeev Bhaskar
Here we are again. Thanks for coming on board! Episode 11 is here and this week, Craig & Producer Griff travel to London meet up with the mighty SANJEEV BHASKAR. We talk, drink tea and eat some very delicious cake provided to is by Sanjeev's lovely wife MEERA SYAL (massive shout to Meera, that was some banana bread!) You'll know Sanjeev from his groundbreaking work in Goodness Gracious Me, The Kumars At Number 42 and most recently Unforgotten. We're thrilled that Sanjeev wanted to come and have a TSP natter. Again, it's a very honest chat and one in which Sanjeev certainly doesn't hold back. There's laughs, of course, but also some very touching stories of childhood and the tensions he experienced growing up. All in all, it's another banger and we couldn't be more proud to have him on.We really hope you enjoy. Big love, Craig & Producer Griff. S01E08 - Thomas Turgoose
How the devil are you? Good week? We hope you're well and looking forward to EPISODE 9 of The Two Shot Podcast. We're thrilled that we can bring you a conversation with the one and only Thoms Turgoose! Craig & Producer Griff were all set to jump in the motor with the mics to meet Tommo in his home town of Grimsby but, an actors schedule is never set in stone and all three of us managed to meet for brew and a chat in London just before Tommo was heading to a premiere. Yes, it's a shorter than normal episode (BOO!) It is however a very open and honest chat and very entertaining (YEAH!). We cover Loads with Tommo; education, grief, support, partying, commitment and building bridges. We cover so much in our short time together it actually felt like a normal length episode... We here at TSP are very proud to have had a sit down with the lovely Tommo. He's a proper gent, not to mention an honest and toptop actor. We hope you enjoy. We certainly did. We're a brand new podcast and need all the help we can get to get our episodes heard. S01E07 - Maya Sondhi
Good morning/Good afternoon/Good Evening. The warmest greetings to you, wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing. It's Thursday and it's EPISODE 8 of THE Two Shot Podcast. Two months down already and this week Craig & Producer Griff travel to London to meet the very funny and chatty (always helps!) MAYA SONDHI! You may know Maya from her fabulous work in Line Of Duty or Citizen Khan or possibly from her writing work on The Kumars, Mount Pleasant and Eastenders. We get the kettle boiled and the tea bags in (two English breakfast & one green tea since you asked) and get down to business talking all about Maya growing up, her very supportive parents, writing & acting and loads more in between. As usual it's another great & insightful chat; a little bit like two pals down a pub and you just happen to be on the next table listening... not in a weird way... just overhearing... not being nosey or anything... oh you know what we mean.Enjoy. THIS IS EPISODE 8 with Maya Sondhi. We're a brand new podcast and need all the help we can get to get our episodes heard. S01E06 - Michael Smiley
Here we are again. It's episode seven of the two shot podcast! Our guest this week is the actor, stand-up comedian and raconteur MICHAEL SMILEY. Craig & Producer Griff met with Smiley in London and after a not so successful coffee order for Smiley (don't ask!) we popped the kettle on, had our selves a brew (very successful!), sat down and dived in.You'll know Michael from playing the part of 'Tyres' in the acclaimed sitcom Spaced, and from his work with Ben Wheatley in Kill List, A Field In England and most recently Free Fire to name but a few. But of course this is the Two Shot Podcast so we like to delve a little deeper. We get to hear about his growing up in Northern Ireland, moving to London, becoming a father and turning from cyclist into a stand up and eventually an actor. It's a really great chat and one we're proud to add to our library here at Two Shot. We really hope you enjoy it.We're a brand new podcast and need all the help we can get to get our episodes heard. S01E05 - Danny
Happy Thursday! Hope you're all well. Here we go again. It's episode six! I say "here we go again" but this weeks guest is surprisingly different. Different in that usually, we tell you who it is and a little bit about them. Can't do that this week. Our guest wants to remain unnamed and this is something we respect on the Two Shot Podcast. For those of you who don't know (and why would you?) we give each guest freedom of edit which means they can talk freely and openly without consoring themselves and feeling inhibited during the chat. Once we've recorded and producer Griff has worked his magic in cleaning it all up and making it sound super sweet, we offer our guests the chance to have a listen and check that they've not said anything they're not comfortable with. In this instance, due to what our guest does for a living now, it made total sense. It's another great story and one we're pleased he agreed to chat about.Get the kettle on and let's get going. We're a brand new podcast and need all the help we can get to get our episodes heard. S01E04 - Kate Ashfield
Greetings Two Shot Pod listeners. It's that time of the week again and this time it's the turn of the magnificent Kate Ashfield. Craig and producer Griff took a trip to the Big Smoke and visited Kate in her super-cool East London flat. They talked drama groups, risk-taking, balancing writing and acting, and Gary Oldman's school reports. It's a fabulous chat. You'll know Kate from her brilliant portrayals in Shaun of the Dead, The Little Life, and Late night Shopping, or her myriad appearances on the stage and screen. She's a wonderful and inspiring woman and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we had making it. We're a brand new podcast and need all the help we can get to get our episodes heard.
