117- Nobody

Everybody is somebody right? Even if that somebody just so happens to be an ex-government homicidal lunatic. I bet that's someone that you wouldn't want to steal from right? Maybe just break into their house haphazardly and come away with a minuscule amount of cash and perhaps also a 7-year old's kitty cat bracelet that might be the exciting incident that kicks the whole plot into high gear. Right??The boys are talking about Nobody this week in case you didn't get that from that excellently recited synopsis. Man oh man does Bob Odenkirk play a psychotic murder VERY well. Maybe even a little bit too well......Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. Like the show? 116- Hitchhiker, Fantasian, Falcon and the Winter Soldier Catch Up

Join the boys this week as they catch up on the ever wonderful Falcon and the Winter Solider (which is great). Jake has also been playing some Apple Arcade games (which mostly aren't as great but he's finally found a few gems), new releases, Fantasian and the wonderfully strange game Hitchhiker. There's plenty of news too. Are the Fast and Furious crew going to space? Probably. Is there going to be a new Jak & Dexter (maybe not). Does Mark Wahlberg have an incredibly ridiculous and self congratulatory workout schedule? (you know it, it's a real self-succ moment if you catch our drift).Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. 115- Godzilla vs. Kong

Are y'all ready to see two giant titans duke it out? Are you also ready to see two titans of the podcasting world (Jake and Ryan) also duke it out over who can knock over the most buildings in Hong Kong?? You're in the right place because this week the boys are all about some Godzilla vs. Kong. The biggest Godzilla and King Kong movie that the boys have covered on this podcast yet (mostly due to the fact this is the first Godzilla and Kong movie they've done on this podcast.) Did we say that Godzilla and King Kong are in this movie and they fight each other?Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. 114- Zack Snyder's Justice League

It's finally here folks... the moment all (or at least the ones of you that have sent death threats to executives of Warner Brother Studios) have been waiting for... it's the SNYDER CUT. Or perhaps we should say the version of Justice League that definitely wasn't going to be 4+ hours long when Zack Snyder was originally working on this but since so much has happened since 2017 and the Joss Whedon version turned out to be a big 'ole flop and AT&T stepped in and gave him free reign and now we have this version- of Justice League is now out.... whew... and the boys have some thoughts on it. Also this episode of this podcast will be in black and white. We know this is an audio based medium so we all need to use our imaginations here. Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. 113- The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

What a week in news we have... Xbox Live is going away (really it's just a rebranding) Warner Brothers aren't going to be putting their movies straight on to HBO Max in 2022 (for the time being) and Black Widow is finally coming out! (on Disney+ and in select theaters). We've also got a brand new Marvel TV series to talk about! The boys sit down to discuss all this and more in this week's episode of Almost Accurate! Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. 112- WandaVision Wrap-Up

This week the boys have quite a bit of news to catch up on. FARTS are coming to Animal Crossing. FINALY. The thing that you've all been asking Nintendo for and they finally caved. Good job everyone. Dev Patel has a new Netflix deal to go on top of his classic movie The Green Knight (which may or may not have come out of next). There is a LGBTQ Captain America (who has some overalls), and Netflix is about to stop you all from mooching off of your parent's password. Lastly but not leastly: the boys are here to wrap up the season that was in WandaVision. Was it great? Yes. Was it amazing? Also yes. Did Ryan think that white Vision was actually called the Pigeon because he misheard in a video from years ago? Definitely yes. Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. Like the show? 111- Little Nightmares II

Well well well, have we got a treat for you guys this week.... and by a treat, we mean a nightmare of a rather beautiful game, where you control a kid that moves like a tank. It's not the best but hey... the boys had some fun with it.... kinda??There's plenty of news this week also.. but most of it is 11 different versions of Final Fantasy 7 coming out. Seriously Square... we just want to know how far along part 2 is but hey, at least we'll be able to play a prequel and a remade version of the remake of the original on iOS and Android while we're waiting...Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. #TBT Episode 1- Best of Episodes 1-15

Who remembers Throwback Thursdays? Are we too old for that? I feel like we might be getting a bit too old for that. Anyhow, since we don't have a new episode for you this week, we've decided to put together a clip show for all of you, whether you've been with us from the very beginning (God bless you) or whether this is your very first time listening to us (then you're in for a TREAT just so you know) you'll get to experience some of the highlights, of the lowlights of the first 15 episodes of our podcast. The fact that we've been doing this for 2 and a half years at this point is a truly mind-blowing thing to think about, so even if the show was a bit rougher, the jokes a bit cruder, it's still fun to reminisce on how far we've come. So pull up a chair and let us regale you with some utter silliness from the Almost Accurate vault. Episodes featured: Episode 1- What Makes a Good Super Hero Film?Episode 2- The Disaster ArtistEpisode 3- Marvel's Spider-Man (PlayStation 4)Episode 4- VenomEpisode 6- Halloween (2018) Episode 7- Read Dead Redemption 2Episode 8- Syro Reignited Trilogy & Castlevania Requiem CollectionEpisode 10- The Grinch Episode 12- Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu! & more Read Dead Redemption 2Episode 13- Aquaman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseEpisode 14, Birdbox, Holmes and WatsonEpisode 15- Bumblebee, 2019 Predicitons Hosted on Acast. 110- Framing Britney Spears, Love & Monsters

Hey guys... we got a real humdinger of an episode today for you. The boys have watched the documentary Framing Britney Spears and boy oh boy do they have some opinions about the absolute rot that we just witnessed in terms of filmmaking and storytelling. Seriously people, if you aren't familiar with the Britney Spears story, it's worth a watch. Hell... even if you aren't familiar with it, it's shocking to see everything that has transpired behind the scenes of such a well-known public figure. The boys (well, one of them at least) also watched Love and Monsters, a surprisingly fantastic and well made film staring Dylan O'Brien and a dog serving an apocalypse where bugs get real big and try to eat you, and maybe there's a girl you made out with 6 years ago that you're willing to risk your life to see again. But hey, like we said earlier, no spoilers. Also, you guys know, NEWS. so much NEWS (well... not as much as normal but there's NEWS still this week). Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more. 109- Irresistible

What's up guys? Is it cold where you're at? Is your power even on? Feel free to chew up any of that precious, precious phone battery life you may have left and let the boys into your home this week (seriously, it's cold out there and they'd really appreciate it). This week: the boys recite in complete and total detail EVERYTHING that Nintendo announced on their February 17th Direct, Cruella gets a trailer where she doesn't try to kill any dogs to make a coat, and we have some things to say about the Snyder Cut. Well... not too many things to say that haven't been said about that monstrosity of a movie already. On top of all of that, a new(wish) movie to talk about! The boys watch Irresistible, a Jon Stewart political comedy staring Steve Carrel and Rose Byrne (it's good, seriously, you're not going to want to miss this). Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, and more.
