In early 1982, the biggest news by far in Minocqua, Wisconsin was a series of bank robberies that had all 3,300 residents looking over their shoulders and clutching their wallets any time they stepped foot into one of their local banks. But when Minocqua Police got a frantic 911 call from Park City Credit Union on the evening of April 28, what they would find inside was far worse than a robbery.
