Eric was on his "vacation" from WCW at the time, but upon looking up at a TV while on a dinner date with his wife, he saw the Radicalz appear on WWE Monday Night Raw, and he knew a call from Brad Siegel was imminent...which it was. Eric would begin discussions to return shortly thereafter, but in the meantime, WCW was sort of sputtering along, with SuperBrawl 2000 being a strong example of that.
