In The Way of Perfection (Part 4), Pastor Kong Hee shares on the importance of Silence & Solitude. After Jesus’ powerful encounter of being baptised in the Holy Spirit at the Jordan River, the first thing He did was to retreat into the wilderness—a quiet, solitary place, for divine encounter. Like Jesus, the busier life gets and the more successful we become, the more we must withdraw into silence and solitude, to grow in our spirituality.

In The Way of Perfection (Part 3), Pastor Kong Hee teaches on simplicity—not about having nothing, but living with less. Through the Parable of the Rich Fool, Jesus warns against three enemies of simplicity: materialism, busyness, and pride. Life isn’t measured by possessions—what if more is less? In the Gospel of John, the “Christmas story” appears right in the opening chapter. John introduces Jesus as the LIGHT, LIFE, and LOVE that came into the world. No matter how deep the darkness may be, the light, life and love of Jesus can illuminate even the darkest corners of our lives.
