It's been a rocky road for Liz Yelling in her quest to reach her third Olympics, Tom found out how she's pulled through some tough times and how she plans to zip up her training man-suit in preparation for this April's London Marathon. Episode 103 - Bruce Tulloh
Happy Christmas 2011. This weeks show is slightly different that normal. We've not got all the weekly news or regular features but instead have a wonderful interview with true old school running legend Bruce Tulloh. 1962 European 5000m champion famous for racing barefoot, set new British and European records for three miles and six miles and competed in 2 European, 2 Commonwealth and one Olympic Games. In 1969 he broke the record for running from Los Angeles to New York. Coached Mike Boit and Richard Nerurkar. Coaching Editor of Runners World for 15years and the author of many books including 'Running is Easy' and 'Running over 40'. Aged 60 he ran a 36min 10k, 57min 10miler, and a 76min half marathon!
