Keep your eyes peeled on the Canberra Times today for my friend and future podcast guest Kieran Pender's article, which references my story and the stories of many public servants who have had their right to a private life and free expression interfered with by their public service employers.

Chunking (Time Blocking)
Chunking (Time Blocking)
The idea here is simple - instead of cycling between different projects or tasks block out time in your diary to tackle the same task across projects. Cal Newport the author of Deep Work suggests that chunking or what he refers to as time blocking is far more efficient than standard work - he says “"A 40 hour time-blocked work week, I estimate, produces the same amount of output as a 60+ hour work week pursued without structure."
