I've interviewed Gavin a few times, and he's always great! Today, is no different. With a new album and tour on the horizon, Gavin hopped on Zoom to tell me all about it. He talked about his part in a Seether song, his future plans, being a rock star and cultural icon as well....and LOTS more. Talkin' Rock with Prog Rocker Derek Sherinian and Jan Hoffmann of Long Distance Calling
Two prog rock artists on Talkin' Rock today. Derek Sherinian has played with so many artists, that Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal said he has 'Octopus Pedigree'. He explains that to me, talks about his latest album and the guests on it, and working solo as opposed to a band situation. He gives me an update on Sons of Apollo, Kane Roberts rejoining Alice Cooper and more. Jan Hoffmann is the second musician in a week who's from Germany and named Hoffmann! He's in a band called Long Distance Calling. They have yet to break here in the states, but this new album could do the trick. He tells me about the record, the history of the band, their past and lots more. Talkin' Rock with Wolf Hoffmann of Accept and I Prevail's Eric and Brian
I can check off another rocker I've never met or interviewed before. Today I'm joined by the last original member from the band Accept, Wolf Hoffmann. He was great to speak with, as you'll hear. We talked about getting back on stage, the last album, plans for the next album, having success in America and switching record labels. It's funny, Wolf doesn't live outside his bubble, as he confessed that he didn't know about the Pantera "reunion" or Stranger Things, in which the Eddie Munson character wears an Accept pin on his jacket. But he did know about where I must take my 21 year old daughter in Nashville. Brian and Eric from I Prevail came by the station last week. They talked about "shoeys", the new album and the writing process, as well as playing in their hometown of Detroit. Talkin' Rock with Wendy Dio, Spread Eagle's Ray West and Jason Bieler

We talked about the two gigs and where it stands now. Ray filled me in on the talks with George, and what's happening moving forward. We talk about Spread, the 90s and much, much more. (around the 42 minute mark) Jason Bieler rounds out this non-award winning podcast. He's dropping a new single this week. We talk about that and his plans for the next record. Talkin' Rock with Billy Howerdel
Billy dropped a new album, What Normal Was, and was nice enough to talk to me about it. I asked him to describe the album, that was a tough one for him. He talks about the tech that went into this record and the throwback sound, in some cases, it has. I also asked him about working with Axl Rose on what would become the Chinese Democracy album. He gives an update on A Perfect Circle, and some bucket-list artists he'd love to work with.....just for starters.
