If the world is a village, Ireland is a street and everyone knows that everything gets back eventually. This was something comedian Jarlath Regan discovered recently when he stayed in a Cork hotel. Jarlath joined Dermot and Dave ahead of his appearance at Electric Picnic for ‘What’s The Story?’

We chatted about old nightclub tunes, headphones v reality and heard from the Irish man who was at the world’s most famous festival. We also gave one lucky listener the ULTIMATE boost after they got in touch to say they were having a bit of a ‘meh’ day. Our solution a comedy gig and a bouncy castle in their back garden? When Neil in Laois got in touch with Dermot and Dave, he was not having a good day. He'd had a bad sleep, he was cranky, he was unmotivated and he was stuck working from home. So, we did what we do best. We gave him a call and tried to cheer him up. Of course, in the interest of him not getting into trouble in work, we had to do some subtle name changing to protect his identity. 'James' spoke to Dermot and Dave about his reluctance to go to the old favourite of coffee and sugar to get him through the rest of the day. But, that got us thinking. Could we give James/Neil, the best day in work ever? The answer? Yes. We got comedian Eric Lalor to do a stand up set in his back-garden, arranged a bouncy castle with Damien from SoFreshEntertainment.ie and even a glitter beard from Amanda at Glitter Babes and Inked Dudes. The moral of the story is, if you're having a bad day, the only people to call are Dermot and Dave.

It’s finally here. The long-awaited, much anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones is finally coming to our screens but you might want to set an alarm. House of the Dragon kicks off this weekend on Sky Atlantic and in Pamela’s Telly, we found out how you can be amongst the first in the world to watch it.

Good news for Elizabeth Johnson Jr. She’s officially not a witch. The only issue is, she was convicted 329 years ago. The last remaining witch from the famous Salem Witch trials has finally been exonerated after a campaign by group of local students. Dermot and Dave were joined by Emerson W Baker, historian and expert on all things Salem, to explain the incredible story of Salem’s last witch.

When David McSavage heads out on his upcoming tour, he has one goal in mind. Apologising to Limerick. Confronted by our own Limerick-ite, Dermot Whelan, David admitted that he ‘struggled’ with the accent many years ago but has grown up and seen the error of his ways. David joined Dermot and Dave to chat accents, politicians and his time spent in Ukraine.
