Ep 224: Dialogue | Let's Chat | Tim | God is the Thing I'm Most Certain About
Recorded: 25 March 2018
Published: 25 March 2018
Released: 26 March 2018
Tim believes that the Christian God exists and that he has reliable methods to arrive at that conclusion. We explore his methodology and come to the conclusion that the amount of certainty he has in is greater than the reliability of his epistomology. In the end, we talk about the value of 'I don't know' as an answer to important questions while you wait or search for more conclusive information. We also addressed some of the apologetics he used to support his belief.
Personal review: Tim is such a great guy and I think we really became good friends by the end of the talk. Once this recorded interview was done, he stood by the table and talked with me for nearly another half hour--we both really enjoyed the talk. I really believe that throughout the conversation, Tim was honestly and openly examining his beliefs..

Ep 218: Dialogue | Street Knowledge | Kyle | When is Evidence Required?
Recorded: 20 February 2018
Published: 20 February 2018
Released: 21 February 2018
In this conversation, I talk with Kyle about when evidence is and isn't required. How do we know when a knowledge claim requires objective verification? Does Kyle require evidence for his belief in God? If not, why not? How do we consistently apply our standards of evidence for the various claims we have?

Ep 216: Dialogue | Street Knowledge | Victoria | God Is Good
Recorded: 4 February 2018
Published: 4 February 2018
Released: 5 February 2018
Here, I talk with Victoria about her belief that God is good. She primarily appeals to her experience, so we talk about how exactly that leads to her belief. What about people whose experience leads them to the opposite conclusion? How do we verify the validity of our experience? What would serve as evidence that God was not, in fact, good? Listen as Victoria explains how she thinks through all of these things.
