In fact, Odds was a big part of inspiring me to write and perform music as my first career. Marion “Nan” Bascom: Love & Wisdom Straight from My Grandmother

Well, Marion Bascom, affectionately known as Nan was a nurse, a Second Lieutenant in the US Army, and a city girl who married my grandfather, Horace, a dairy farmer, and took on the challenges of tending to a dairy farm, organic garden and homestead while raising 7 children. After living the good life for almost a century, Nan passed away a few years ago at the age of 97. And I'm very happy to be able to share some of her wisdom with you here today.
