Let’s talk about the Tinder Swindler! Netflix released a documentary about a man who goes by the alias, Simon Leviev, who meets women on Tinder and deceives them into sending him a lot of money. Simon starts by meeting women in person to show him his lavish style and influence by inviting them to restaurants, five-star hotels, and private jet trips. In a short period of time, Simon gives the women a lot of love and affection and asks them to be his girlfriend. Once Simon gains the women’s trust he tells them about his enemies following him and causing him to have financial problems. He asks the women to open credit cards and take out loans for him under their names with the promise of paying them back, but he never does. As a result, the women rack hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.
