EP 088: HEALING AND BREATHWORK WITH DAVID ELLIOTT

I am so excited to bring you this episode! I had the privilege to interview David Elliot in his beautiful home. He is one of the pioneers in the breathwork movement. As you know, breakwork excites me so much in conjunction with the food and body conversation. Breathwork is just a beautiful catalyst for us to go deeper with the food and body conversation. I loved this conversation with David about his breathwork, the spiritual and physical reason behind it. It was a beautiful conversation and I’m so excited to bring it into the world and share it with you!   About David Elliott There are many blocks on the healing path.  Each block has its own story; hearing into them is David Elliott’s gift.   Author, teacher and healer David Elliott has spent over two decades helping and inspiring clients from around the world to heal their deepest fears, blocks and negative beliefs. EP 087: SOLO JAM SESSION: OUR EXTERNAL WORLD DOESN'T CREATE INTERNAL SAFETY

I am recording this live from Bali and I really wanted to do this episode from here with a little bit less of the editing and a little bit more rawness. I feel raw. I feel really raw. I feel like I'm going through another unearthing in my life. Another unearthing of what does not belong which, always feels very scary you know? It's this whole idea of like, “I want to keep things as they are and I want a white-knuckle, and I want structure, and I want this, and I want that,” so that I can feel safe. I wanted to bring this message to this podcast today. This whole facade that our external world creates our internal safety. In this episode, I share: Deciding and choosing the emotions we want to feel. What does safety feel like in your body? Getting above the emotions that keep us stuck. Inviting safety into our bodies on a daily basis. Check out our Hungry for Happiness community for more details, programs, and tips on how to thrive as a wellness coach. EP 086: BEAUTY IS SOUL DEEP WITH MEREDITH ROM

Today on the show I have the amazing Meredith Rom. I loved connecting with her! You can just tell by her voice how grounded, soulful, and heart centered she is. I absolutely loved the way that she talked about beauty and uniqueness as it pertains to the self. I think that's often times something that we just miss the ball on so much as we don't acknowledge the beauty and the uniqueness of our individuality, our humanness, our souls, and our hearts. I often get my clients to look at nature and I say, “Look how beautiful that is!” and what we get to realize is beauty that exists externally also exists within ourselves. The only thing we have to ask ourselves is, “Are we willing to look at it? Are we willing to realize it?” Something else we talked about is what to do when your partner is not into personal development and growth but you are. We also talk about the art of asking for help, the art of receiving, really stepping into our Womanhood, really stepping into our femininity, and asking for what we need to help us navigate this human experience.   About Meredith Rom Meredith Rom is a yoga teacher, author, coach and host of the Rising Women Leaders podcast. She helps women uncover and heal whatever is preventing them from claiming and embodying their unique brilliance to be a beacon of light for others to awaken in this world. After graduating from NYU she followed her intuition to Northern California where she now teaches yoga and mentors women to rise in courage, self-love and feminine leadership.   In this episode, Meredith shares: Acknowledging our own beauty and uniqueness. How comparison robs us of our true magic. Taking ownership when we’re acting out of alignment and forgiving ourselves. Asking for help and being open to receive it. What to do when you’re committed to personal growth and your partner is not.   You can find more of Meredith at: Website | Instagram | Facebook   Check out our Hungry for Happiness community for more details, programs, and tips on how to thrive as a wellness coach! EP 085: SOLO JAM SESSION: CREATING BOUNDARIES AND USING DISCERNMENT

In this episode I’m jamming on questions I am asked all of the time. They’re questions like, “How can I be more discerning with my boundaries?, How can I create boundaries?, How can I say no?, How can I listen to the part of me that’s trying to speak to me?, How can I ask for what I need? How can I receive more abundance?” And I think this is important because as women, it’s difficult. We grow up and take on the role of a marauder. We handle everything and as a result, we become resentful. In this episode, I share: How to make decisions based off of our bodies’ intuitive reactions. Observing and questioning our thoughts before we make decisions. An easy way to create and set boundaries from an unapologetic place. Identifying the various ways you’re not treating yourself well. Where are you not showing up for yourself? What do you need? Check out our Hungry for Happiness community for more details, programs, and tips on how to thrive as a wellness coach! EP 084: HOW TO RECREATE YOUR LIFE WITH TARA MACKEY

I brought Tara on the show because I admire her so much for her ability to not wait for permission, not wait to jump through the red tape, and just simply own her power and the things that light her up without any connections, without any record deal. Part of what she does is she’s a musician, she’s a beautiful artist. Rather than waiting for a record deal to start creating music and filling her soul’s desire, she just went for it and I admire her so much. In this episode we talk about the ability to unlearn the things you thought you were so you can recreate yourself. And this is something I talk about often on the Hungry for Happiness podcast. The way she described it is so beautiful, given her background, her childhood. She’s one of those people where you’re like. “Wow, you have truly created a remarkable life.” And I wanted to bring her on the show to really inspire you to give yourself permission to say, “Hey! I can recreate the narrative and be who I want to be NOW. ” About Tara Mackey Tara Mackey is the founder and CEO of The Organic Life, a successful holistic and sustainable living platform, and is a widely recognized activist with a tribe of over 1 million followers on her blog and social media. She founded the organic skincare company Genetix and is the #1 best-selling author of Cured by Nature and WILD Habits.   In this episode, Tara shares: The daily practice of unlearning and recreating yourself. Accepting your differences and building your business from the inside out. Overcoming the feeling of not belonging and owning your truth. The power in connecting and collaborating with other women. How to make friends with other women.   You can find more of Tara at: Website | Instagram | Facebook   Check out our Hungry for Happiness community for more details, programs, and tips on how to thrive as a wellness coach! EP 083: WHAT I LEARNED FROM SPENDING 70 HOURS WITH TONY ROBBINS

I’m going to be talking all about of the amazing lessons and teachings from my 70 hours with Tony Robbins. It was absolutely one of the hardest weeks of my life and one of the best weeks of my life. He’s one of my biggest mentors and people in this industry I admire so much. I love his mastery in the ability to be so loving in his boldness and directness. In this episode I’m going to cover the top 5 things that for me just really stuck out and reiterated what I believe to be true. In this episode, I share: The 5 top things I learned from Tony Robbins’ Date with Destiny How fulfillment is vastly different from achievement. EP 081: SOLO JAM SESSION: HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIFE A MASTERPIECE

In this solo jam I'm talking about how to make your life a masterpiece. I heard this quote the other day and I was like, “That’s so good!” It was by Michelangelo and he said I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. I was like, “Man. that's what we're doing with ourselves everyday.” We are carving at the pieces that don't belong to sculpt ourselves into the truest most authentic versions of who we are. Underneath everything, we are these Divine being of light and love. We are these incredible masterpieces that are just so perfect and so amazing. It's so out of this world incredible.   In this episode, I share: Peeling back the illusion of our lives and recognizing our brilliance. Why we struggle with beliefs, patterns, and stories. Changing the meaning of our emotions. Dropping into our bodies and being connected to our present moment. Creating our realities through shifting our energy.
