Part bleeding but still handsome

Italy are European champions. Jimbo, Carl Anka, James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, David Preece and Daniel Storey review a wonderful night for the Azzurri but a heart-breaking night for England who lose on penalties at Wembley.Gareth Southgate’s side take a very early lead but are pegged back and worn down by their opponent. Like the 2018 World Cup semi-final but worse. It’s an inspirational group of players but in hindsight, did England throw this Euros away? And did they play that much football in the tournament? As for Italy, we salute a team that every other team made changes to their system for. And of course, they had the amazing Chiellini. The star of this Italy team and finally a European champion.RUNNING ORDER:  • PART 1: Carl Anka at Wembley (02m 00s)• PART 2: What went wrong for England? (16m 00s)• PART 3a: What went right for Italy with James Horncastle (25m 00s)• PART 3b: Looking ahead to Qatar (35m 30s)• PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (45m 00s)• PART 5: Copa America and final conclusions (48m 30s)SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC:• theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH:• follow us on Instagram• find us on Facebook• send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES:• we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE:• check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Man scores volley

For the penultimate pod of the Euros, Jimbo is joined by a bumper crew of James Horncastle, Michael Cox, Tom Williams and Duncan Alexander.Anticipation builds ahead of the final at Wembley on Sunday. Italy the complete team, managed by Mancini the serial winner. Whereas England look to be physically fresher. Are both teams already heroes and in a no-lose situation? We reminisce about a tournament including lots of goals, classic matches and most importantly, fans. And 15 years on from Italy’s last major tournament win, a chat about Zidane’s headbutt on Materazzi, much like the incident itself, gets out of hand.RUNNING ORDER:  • PART 1: England v Italy preview (02m 00s)• PART 2: Looking back at Euro 2020 (32m 00s)• PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (47m 00s)• PART 4: Zidane’s headbutt 15 years on (50m 00s)SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS:• theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH:• follow us on Instagram• find us on Facebook• send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES:• we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE:• check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Wave of soppy emotion

Jimbo is joined by James Horncastle, Adam Crafton and Daniel Storey as the Azzurri ascend to the final of Euro 2020.It took penalties and a little bit of luck but Italy beat Spain at Wembley and continue to give great value to this tournament. Giddiness correspondent

Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Carl Anka and Sasha Goryunov react to a fantastic night for the Three Lions in Rome.England cruise past Ukraine 4-0 and into the last 4 of Euro 2020. A performance that was everything we wanted it to be – ruthlessly efficient and an absence of jeopardy. We salute Southgate, Shaw and the Sterling Kane partnership. They will meet Denmark in the semi-finals at Wembley after the Danes dispatch the Czechs thanks to Joakim Maehle’s caramelo. But are they a bit overrated?Plus we revisit the greatest upset in Euros history – Greece going all the way in 2004.RUNNING ORDER:  • PART 1: Ukraine 0-4 England (03m 30s)• PART 2: Czech Republic 1-2 Denmark (20m 30s)• PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (31m 30s)• PART 4: On This Day – Greece win the Euros (34m 00s)SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS:• theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH:• follow us on Instagram• find us on Facebook• send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES:• we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE:• check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Jimbo is alongside Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and James Horncastle as Italy & Spain set up a semi-final meeting at Euro 2020.Roberto Mancini’s Italy knock out the number 1 ranked team in the world in Belgium, in a performance that has everything. How have the Azzurri managed to put together this 32-game unbeaten run? And why wasn’t Mancini more in demand?Spain are victorious on penalties against 10-man Switzerland but are hugely wasteful in front of goal again. Alvaro Romeo tells us why the Spanish might be about to click, through unity and conviction. But do they lack personality? In Saturday’s quarter-finals, it’s Czech Republic v Denmark and then, England v Ukraine in Rome. Yevhen Muzyka tells us why Shevchenko isn’t as popular as you might think.Plus we talk Sancho, Nuno and Rafa Benitez, all on the move in club football.RUNNING ORDER:  • PART 1: Belgium 1-2 Italy (03m 30s)• PART 2: Spain beat the Swiss on spot-kicks with Alvaro Romeo (20m 30s)• PART 3a: England v Ukraine preview with Yevhen Muzyka (35m 00s)• PART 3b: Czech Republic v Denmark preview (46m 00s)• PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (49m 30s)• PART 5: Sancho, Nuno and Benitez all on the move (52m 00s)SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS:• theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH:• follow us on Instagram• find us on Facebook• send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES:• we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE:• check out thetotallyfootballshow.com.
