"Sorry, God!" (w/ Sean Hayes)
The girls are starstruck and shakin' in their little gay boots today because the Las Cultch guest is none other than comedic savant, genuine hero and (get this... ) WONDERFUL FRIEND Sean Hayes. The host of the truly world famous podcasts Smartless (out Mondays) and Hypochondriactor (out Wednesdays) joins Matt & Bowen to discuss Will & Grace and Q-Force, share memories of performing in Promises, Promises on Broadway, and confront the fact that the Sean Hayes Cher impression is now THEE culturally accepted Cher impression. Also, Erasure, George Michael and queer representation in all forms of media, iconic medical issues and the dragging of RHOSLC's Jennie Nguyen, one word names AND three word names. JUST CULTCH! Ya gotta listen! Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

"Agatha Christie White Mystery" (w/ Fran Tirado)
This week Las Culturistas invites a queer latinx stoner podcaster and it's NOT even Che Diaz!!! It's the much less annoying Fran Tirado! And would you believe that Che takes up a lot of discussion space in this episode of all episodes? The gals discuss just WHAT Che is representing, And Just Like That as we barrell towards the finale, white creators confronting whiteness in their work, Spider Man: No Way Home and fan service culture, how Peacock is actually IT, Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, casting queer roles with straight actors and the backlash that occurs when it happens, Drag Race and the Maddy Morphosis of it all, Greek mythology, youth group, how D.A.R.E. made us want to do drugs more, and that thing that happens when you masturbate too much and your dick goes "poof!" like a baby dragon who can't yet breathe fire. Would you introduce yourself to your favorite OnlyFans creator if you saw them at the mall? Can you handle if it Jujubee loses another season of Drag Race? Should Raya end once and for all? Much to discuss! Listen to this AND Fran's new podcast Like A Virgin with Las Cultch favorite Rose Dommu! "She Suffered... And She Is Still That Girl" (w/ Matt & Bowen)
Bowen Yang (platinum blonde, super-immune, Erika, corn silk-era) and Matt Rogers (still brunette, super-immune, Rinna, still charizard-era) gather together after a fabulous trip to Mexico City to record a "culture catchup" episode of their podcast Las Culturistas (critically acclaimed). And wow, has culture occurred. The name Che Diaz ring a bell? "Hey, it's Che Diaz!" How about now? Also, Mary M. Cosby, exiting the world stage? Major news, indeed. The Elmo-Zoe feud down on Sesame Street? You could say the hosts are bravely taking a side. And oh, the power of cinema. Matt and Bow review The Power of the Dog, Being The Ricardos, The Lost Daughter, Don't Look Up, Free Guy and Licorice Pizza. All this, praise for the final season of Search Party, a celebration of the renewal of The Morning Show for a third season (congrats third graders, you're the real heroes, mamas), thoughts on new Drag Race, Project Runway and Euphoria, and a whole lot of bullshit in between. Las Cultch? Is back. She suffered... and she is still that girl. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On The Seventh Day of Culture... June 20th, 1975: JAWS Eats The Girls (RE-RELEASE)
This is a re-release of a CLASSIC Las Culturistas episode:This episode, which is really a prayer, is a time capsule recorded just hours before the release of Tayla Swiff's evermore. It is also going to go down in history as one of the most thought-provoking discussions of all podcast time. The central question? Is it weirder that Bowen hasn't seen Jaws (despite having once played him/her on stage) or that Matt hasn't seen The Sound of Music (despite being Matt)? What was intended as a discussion on the cultural impact of Jaws eating, nay, devouring the girls quickly turns into an exploration on pop culture's impact relative to location and broader cultural exposure. Also, the famous score of the blockbuster film as a "sexual call to the dance floor", how the hoopla around the movie took sharks to the top of the charts, and the reveal that neither of the boys have seen The Godfather. All this, Disney's recent announcements, the incumbent "stan" vs. the challenger "simp", and a brief, tasteful moment of appreciation for Carrie Underwood. You're gonna need a bigger...hug :) Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On The First Day of Culture... August 18th, 1953: The First McDonald's Opens Its Doors (RE-RELEASE)
This is a re-release of a CLASSIC Las Culturistas episode:Welcome to the Holidays, darling. Day 1 of our 12 episode series explores the fast food kingdom with those golden arches. Las Culturistas agree; "This was a day of cultural history, this gift." The girls discuss why McDonald's is culturally significant, how it relates to their stupid lives, and play Marry, Fuck, Kill with figures within the McDonald's canon. Do YOU think they should give two hash browns instead of one with McDonald's breakfast? Do you have a go-to meal or do you shake it up each time, order-wise? If you don't listen to this episode? Precious one, you're without. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

"Snarky F*ggots" (w/ Matt & Bowen)
And Just Like That... it's the last new episode of Las Culturistas in the year of our good lord 2021. The iconic two (Matt & Bowen) take this time to lay down the law on spoiler culture once and for all, express their thoughts on cum, and really do a deep dive on the new revival of S*x and the C*ty, AND JUST LIKE THAT! TL;DR: we have some concerns and questions (Is Miranda now a queer alcoholic? How annoying is too annoying when it comes to Charlotte? What's the deal with how they're using the new POC characters? Will Samantha return? Why is Steve deaf? Are the third graders from The Morning Show now on this project?) but we will watch every episode, are thankful for it's return and absolutely love everyone involved. All this, more West Side Story thoughts (Tony Kushner is GOOD), Succession finale thoughts (this television show is IMPORTANT) and an examination and performance of Nicole Kidman's iconic AMC Theaters opening presentation (Nicole is a SAVANT). Also, RHOLSC thoughts, Survivor finale predictions, and a talk about how hands are weird. Fear Peloton! Happy New Year! We love you! Xo! "Socializing Disturbs Learning" (w/ Matt & Bowen)
Matt Rogers & Bowen Yang, both a pleasure to have in class, join together for another culture catch-up. The two flops reminisce about memories from trips to Chicago (where Matt is currently on tour), and discuss what happens when you eat too much deep dish pizza and then do choreography. Also, West Side Story (2021), praise for Steven Spielberg, Rachel Zegler (COME ON THE POD) and Ariana deBose, teachers we feel hated us and the lessons we learned from them, Vanessa Hudgens appreciation, Succession, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and "loyalty" as a personal value, reality TV casting then and now, and searing takedowns of Nyquil and room service. "Hundred. Period!" (w/ Matt & Bowen)
The culture catch-up to end all culture catch-ups, this episode has Matt Rogers & Bowen Yang dropping a dramatic announcement about the long-delayed LCCA's, reviewing their Thanksgivings and previewing their New Years, and demanding the readers to send in photos of their fabulous hikes! And then: culture. House of Gucci. Prosthetics culture. Adele's 30. Rebecca Hall's Passing. Nicki on the Potomac reunion. The legendary Stephen Sondheim. West Side Story buzz (RACHEL ZEGLER COME ON THE POD). The flop Grammy Nominations drama. Channeling whilst creating art. Selling Sunset. Survivor. A recap of The Morning Show finale and a celebration of the third graders. And the question: should Bowen be Boq in Wicked? This specnomenal episode pulled all the way up in the Sri Lanka. Wouldn't you agree? We do... Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

"Address Her Correctly!" (w/ Dr. Wendy Osefo)
An ode to shooting your shot in the DMs, this episode is one for the ages. Because Las Cultch welcomes the one, the only, the zen... Dr. Wendy Osefo! Matt, Bow and Wendy discuss how she got involved with the Real Housewives of Potomac, the experience of pursuing your dreams and negotiating those dreams with the expectations of immigrant parents, Wendy's Nigerian upbringing, and seeing a reality TV depiction of yourself out there for people to judge. Also, Clueless and the icon that is Dionne, Lil Kim and Britney Spears, and putting family first. All that, what it was like to get absolutely dragged by Nicki Minaj, and an I Don't Think So Honey from Dr. Wendy that Matt and Bow agree is one of the finest in recent memory. Pre-order Wendy's book Tears of My Mother: The Legacy of My Nigerian Upbringing now, get yourself some Onyi Home Essentials and tune into the final part of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion when it airs this Sunday!
