Combating Data Perishability in a Volatile World
Data perishability is always an issue but it gains significance in times of rapid change. Covid brought into stark relief just how volatile the world can be, and of course volatility wreaks havoc on historical data models. As business leaders accelerate their focus on data they are realizing that they need to take different approaches to derive maximum value from their data. Over the next four podcasts I will be joined by thought leaders, business leaders and technologists in the AI and Data space to talk about how companies should be looking at their data in times of rapid change. On this podcast I am joined by two executives from Cognizant - Bret Greenstein, SVP and Global Head of the AI and Analytics practice and Babak Hodjat, VP of Evolutionary AI. We dig down into the issues around data perishability and explore ways leaders should be adjusting to a volatile world. We also talk about how Cognizants approach using Evolutionary AI helps solve this problem.

Creating a National AI Strategy
Countries are rushing to create national AI strategies that will ensure that they dominate the field of AI for the foreseeable future. This involves investing in research, fostering and encouraging partnerships between government, academia and business as well as making sure that we train our current workers, as well as our young people, in the skills they need to fill the well paying jobs of the future. AI is built on data and so we also need to find a responsible way to collect and use data which respects the privacy of US citizens while allowing breakthroughs in AI technologies. In short, we have some heavy lifting ahead of us to make sure that we get it right. On this podcast I am joined by Congressman Frank Lucas (R-OK) and Bret Greenstein of Cognizant to talk about all of these issues. It is a fascinating conversation because we get the perspective of a policy leader as well as a senior executive at a leading AI company.

Government and Business Perspectives on the Future of Work
I am pleased to have Congressman McNerney (R-CA) and Bret Greenstein, Senior Vice President and Head of the AI and Analytics Practice at Cognizant, joining me on this podcast to talk about the Future of Work in a world quickly being transformed by Artificial Intelligence. We all know that AI will eliminate some jobs, create many new jobs and will fundamentally change all jobs. To prepare our current workers, as well as those who are in school and yet to enter the workforce, for the new and exciting jobs of the future we need a concerted effort between government and business. In this interesting and far ranging conversation we explore the issue and talk about ways that government and business can help both individually, and in partnership, to ensure that our workforce is prepared. For anyone interested in this topic this really is a must listen. I hope you find the conversation thought provoking.
