This week on The Feds, Holly Felmlee joins us again to discuss her recent Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) lawsuit win. Holly Felmlee was a financial analyst for the Department of Defense Education Activities (DODEA), who worked in Japan and Belgium during the Covid years. Based on her vaccination status, she was unwillingly put on AWOL status and fired, re-hired, and fired again within a 4-day period. Holly filed an EEOC complaint and sued the Department of Defense (DOD) . We discuss what her recent win means, the extensive waste and abuse she saw as a financial analyst, and the abuse within DODEA schools. As of March 11, Holly and the Department of Defense are still discussing the terms of her reinstatement. The DOD attempted to bring Holly back as a GS-9, but the job is now promoted to a GS-11 and there is resulting confusion with her back pay terms. Major Michael Gary, CBRN specialist and former Maine National Guardsman, joins The Feds for a second time this week. Like many others, due to his refusal to take the COVID-19 experimental jab, Mike was reprimanded, discharged, and left to rebuild his life outside the uniform he once wore with pride. With the Harkins v. United States ruling in January, 2025, declaring COVID discharges unjust, and with President Trump's Executive Order mandating service members’ reinstatement, Major Gary expected the Guard to make things right. Instead, he found himself stonewalled by a leadership still unwilling to acknowledge the damage they had done. Calls have gone unanswered, paperwork has been lost, and those in charge have treated the reinstatement process as little more than an inconvenience. Mike is calling for all military service members who were served reprimands and disciplined over the COVID-19 jab mandates, to publish those letters and descriptions of disciplinary measures, so military commands have no choice but to address the specific cases. Part 1 of 2: Healing from Covid Trauma This week on The Feds we are joined by (Ret.) Lt. Col. David Meece and his wife Jennifer. David served in the Army and Air Force for a total of 33 years, first as enlisted, and later as an officer. David and Jennifer shed light on the challenges they faced due to the COVID-19 mandate, and discuss David’s decision to stand firm on his convictions and refuse the shots on moral, ethical, and legal grounds. The decision not only ended his career, but it took a significant emotional and spiritual toll. Their story is one of struggle, but also of courage and inspiration. In addition to his story, we discuss the role advocacy plays with military promotion, the betrayal many military servicemen have experienced due to the COVID-19 mandates, and the subsequent trauma they have suffered.  David is a father of nine and husband to Jennifer, founder of Ebenezer Therapy Services.
