On today's program, I discussed the Mormon doctrine of God, and its differences with Christian orthodox Trinitarianism. I talked about monotheism vs. polytheism, exhaltation to Godhood, theosis, Brigham Young's Adam-God theory, and many other important issues. 

On today's program, I continued our discussion of the liturgy as we began talking about the Scripture readings. I spent the majority of the program discussing the nature and importance of using a lectionary in worship.

On today's program, I discussed the history and theology of Mormonism. I discussed Mormon apologetics, and the errors in their manner of thinking and argumentation. This should serve as an introduction for those who live in areas that are heavily populated by Mormons and aren't familiar with their beliefs, especially for those who want to bring the gospel to those who are in the LDS movement. 

On this week's program, I spent the hour discussing a number of different issues surrounding the nature of preaching. I began with the question, "Should a pastor preach a sermon that is all law?" This led to a number of further questions surrounding preaching and law and gospel.

On today's program, I spent the hour discussing listener questions. We covered a variety of topics including closed communion, church fellowship, the words of institution, and much more!

On today's program, I was joined by my wife Lisa Cooper to discuss family worship. We talked about the three most important aspects of family worship: prayer, catechesis, and hymnody. We discussed the practices that we have used ourselves, relevant Biblical texts, and contemporary resources to help in this practice.

On today's program we continued to look at the church's liturgy. We began with a discussion of purification and priesthood in the Old Testament, and then discussed the introit, Psalm singing, the kyrie, and the various hymns of praised used in Lutheran churches.

Joining the discussion is Rev. Lewis Polzin, a pastor moving to Concordia University in Wisconsin. They delve into the transformative power of regeneration and its significance in a believer's life. The conversation highlights the relationship between baptism and faith, emphasizing its implications even for infants. They tackle the critical nature of repentance, balancing grace with accountability. Local pastoral care is underscored as vital for spiritual guidance, illustrating how deep community connections enhance individual spiritual journeys.

On today's program, I was joined by my wife, Lisa Cooper, to discuss birth control. We laid out a number of different perspectives on this issue from a variety of Christians, and gave reasons why each view is supported.
