Hey everyone, today on the show is one of my heroes and inspirations, Lucy Lawless. She is, of course, Xena Warrior Princess, but I first met her as Number Three on Battlestar Galactica. We didn’t get to work together a lot, so it was a joy to sit down and chat with her. Lucy just directed her first documentary, Never Look Away, the story of CNN war photographer Margaret Moth. There are a lot of lessons to learn from the documentary and Lucy has a lot of stories about getting it made and the challenges they faced. It was nice to get a chance to chat with her while she’s doing press for the film. I think Lucy and I had different experiences working on Battlestar so it was enlightening to hear her perspective. Hey everyone! My guest today is actually one of my best friends, well he’s actually the husband of one of my best friends but I like him just as much! Teddy Sears is that guy you’ve seen in everything including his new show Brilliant Minds with Zachary Quinto. We talk a little about that show, the inspiration behind it, and what it’s like to work with Zachary. We also talk a lot about how Teddy got into acting so he’d have a good story to tell his grandkids and it somehow turned into a career. Happy Tuesday! I am very, very excited about today’s guests—mostly because my daughter is going to be their new best friend. Today, I’m talking to Barlow & Bear (aka Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear), the incredibly talented duo behind the music in the new movie, Moana 2, which comes out tomorrow, 11/27! Abigail and Emily are delightful, super talented, and, most importantly, young enough to be my daughters.
