Stew has a background within the emergency services field following after his father who was a part of Iredell Rescue for many years and now has his brother following suit. Don is a Capt On Truck 1 in Salisbury, Chris is a back step Firefighter on Ladder 24 for the City of Charlotte & Cody is a back step Firefighter on Ladder 34 for the City of Kannapolis. All 3 men teach for the cadre group Twisted Fire Industries and all share the same love, drive and passion for the fire service and make sure they can do the job and do it well. Reilly doesn’t care what rank you are and how long you’ve been in the service as he treats everyone he meets as equal. The conversation Tom and I had should resound with every individual regardless of rank that believes within the mission. We are in this profession to truly be masters of our craft. James believes that your never a prophet in your own land and just because you have bugles that doesn’t give you the right to think your above being a Firefighter. One thing I truly like that James does being a Training Chief is that he believes in bringing outside instructors/educators into your department for the betterment of your members.
